A fantastic all-round team performance yesterday against Stirling Albion, who are currently sitting top of the league.

We started really strong not giving Stirling a second, playing some fantastic football and we went in at halftime 3-2 up with well taken goals from Robbie L, Oliver & Jude, but we felt that we could have been further infront with some missed opportunities.

2nd half, we never got started, Stirling came out strong and we found ourselves 4-3 down, but that kicked the boys back into action and we took the game to Stirling, with Kerren scoring to make it 4-4 with a counter attack. We created a few more chances, but again we just never capitalised on them with the Stirling keeper making some good saves. A late tackle on Chistian on the wing saw Stirling go down to 10 men, Robbie H freekick was tipped onto the bar by the Stirling keeper, but Arran followed it in to make it 5-4 and get a deserved win and all 3 points.

A great game of football between both teams.

We're on our travels tomorrow to face Milngavie Fc in the divisional cup group section.

It should be a great game against a strong Milngavie team, who are currently sitting top of the section..

We are delighted to officially announce the signing of Sam tonight.

Sam has been on trial with us for the last few weeks and has shown his quality in training and what he can bring to the team. His hardwork and great attitude has shown us coaches that he will be a good defensive addition to our squad.

Sam had a few offers from other teams, but we are delighted that he has accepted our offer to join us at Garnkirk Utd.

🔴⚽️ Divisional Cup Day 2 ⚽️🔴

A fantastic all-round team performance today on a heavy pitch.

We should have been out of sight by halftime as we had plenty of opportunities and two goals chopped off. Wills then got us in front before halftime with a strike from the edge of the box...

2nd half was more even between the teams with us coming close with 2 or 3 freekicks and had an opportunity cleared off the line, before Kerren put us 2-1 up to take all 3 points.

A disappointing result for us yesterday in the Divisional Cup against a very strong Milngavie team.

We started the game really well going 1-0 up with a strike from Corey at the edge of the box. Unfortunately we couldn't see out the first half with Milngavie scoring just before halftime with a deflected shot going past our keeper..

2nd half Milngavie started strong scoring 2 quick goals. We did create a few chances and had two penalty claims not given with Milngavie breaking quickly from one to make it 4-1..

Oliver who made his debut for us yesterday had a fantastic strike into the bottom corner to make it 4-2 and give us a lifeline.

Unfortunately Milngavie were clinical infront of goal and took their chances well with the game finishing 2-6..

We will need to take that result on the chin, learn from it and prepare for our 2nd group game next weekend. ⚽️🔴🏆

We're back in action tomorrow in our first divisional cup group game, in what should be a cracking game against Milngavie fc..

A fantastic all round team performance yesterday from the boys.
We knew Chryston were going to give us a tough game with them being in good form recently. but Garnkirk stood up to the challenge, in what was a good competitive game between both sides. Goals from Lewis & Corey put us ahead twice in the game to take a 2-1 victory and well deserved 3pts.
