a huge well done to everyone for competing in the alpineperformanceracing half of the Twin Peaks.

Thanks to our top coach coordinator Paul for herding the various skiers to the right place at the right time, doing the course inspection and being on hand for last minute tips and tricks. ⛷️

Thanks also to the club volunteers providing munchies and lots of delicious home baking to the hungry skiers and families. 🧁 😋

At MAD we like to encourage young skiers who like to ski fast to learn about technique (shhh they think they're just messing around!) and form friendships and team values which will do them well in other areas. 👌

Well done to Archie who won the U8 category at Silksworth today. Look at that smile 😃!!

Archie has been a member of MAD for almost 2 years and he has been really focusing on skiing over the summer.

He is on 🔥 right now.

What an evening?! All the drama and emotion and the guys pulled it all together so the two teams got all their races in, even though we were a man down. (Get well soon dude).

Super proud of everyone. It was a real team effort that got the Division 4 team of MAD for It to 3rd place 🥉.

It takes a village so huge thanks to the team and volunteers at , and to all the parents at MAD for staying the distance to the end. It was a late one! 😴

LSR Bairns and Lassies now open for entry…

⛷LSR Bairns & Lassies 2025 ⛷

LSR Bairns & Lassies running Sunday 30th November 2025 is now open for entries.

This race is a full day race this year.

The Bairns & Lassies is the perfect first race for any young or inexperienced racers from U8 to U16 (2019-2010). To encourage this, although all racers will race from the top of the main slope, the course is deliberately set as a GS and will be easy and enjoyable for all abilities.

Running for over 30 years, the Bairns & Lassies is a fixture in the race calendar and has some historic winners who have gone from these early beginnings to become Olympic ski racers.

Unlike other races, it also gives U12s and younger the chance to pit themselves against the U14s and U16s on the same course, adding bit of extra spice to the race!

Due to the popularity of this race, we encourage you to get your entries in quick as all entry is first come first served. If anyone is unsure or has any questions then please do speak to any of the coaching team at training, this really is a perfect race for the youngsters training with us.
