The first competition in our Centenary “ Festival of Golf” week kicked off today with the Alan Marshall Memorial Open Trophy. This competition is to celebrate the life of Alan Marshall who was a great member of Hayston and is sadly missed by our members. Thank you to everyone who played today and a warm welcome to all our visitors, near and far, and your positive feedback on the course is really appreciated by our Club. Well done to our member, John Sloan, winning the tournament with a magnificent 66 and I know he will be proud to win this home event. A big thank you to Christine Main & George Earl for organising and running the event and the hours they have put in are truly appreciated by everyone at Hayston.
