Where do we even start with today? 66 Competitors today took part in our Adult & Child Open Glenrothes Golf Club over the Front 9 with more than 10 of the younger ones playing their first ever event and some as young as 5 years old playing 😎

Fife Golf Trust, Andy and the team, the golf course was fantastic! 🔥

A great turn out, we truly didn’t expect to have 33 teams play today, it ultimately came down to the final putt for the handicap section seeing Gordon McGarva & Matthew Anderson (it’s like seeing double 👀) piping the links boys to 1st place in Kai Heffron & Nathan Berry on the 9th green who both finished on 20 Points, team Bowman narrowly missing out on the countback also scoring 20 points. An East Fife 1 & 2 👀💛🖤

Our Non Handicap event was won by Dad & Daughter duo and ever present in the winners circle this year, Glenrothes Golf Club Club Champ, Gary Cunningham & daughter Brooke Ferguson with Justin & Brodhi Shaw finishing as runners up.

📋 - The Format (Stableford)

We will have 2 Sections and the format will be a Stableford Competition.

Handicap & Non Handicap (child)

⛳️ || Handicap Format

All players will play from the “Silver Tees”. The team will then select the preferred tee shot and play alternative shot from there.

Minimum Tee Shots || Child - 4 Tee Shots

⛳️ || Non Handicap Format

The Adult players will play from the “Silver Tees” and Child players will play from our “Wee Tees” a little further up the fairways.

Again, the preferred tee shot will be selected and alternative shots from there.

Minimum Tee Shots || Child - 3 Shots

⛳️ || Closest To Pin Challenges

We have 2 closest to pin challenges on the front 9.

Adult Players - 3rd Hole || Par 3 || 151 Yards
Child Players - 9th Hole || 70 Yard Fairway Shot
