MATCH RESULT!
Match day 4 Scottish FFIT Football Association
Strollers 1 - Partick Thistle 35s & FFIT 2
A game which seen both teams playing in a mud bath instead of a nice grenn pitch thanks to the rain!
First half started of with both teams getting use to the pitch and the rain but it was strollers who found the back of the net first with a lovely piece of play with 1-2s being played everywhere after
Jordan Broadhurst won the ball in the defence who found Kane Robertson who he then found Grant McDaniel who then found Harry Davies who found Nico Copeland for Nico to find Harry Davies to finishing it off into the far post bottom corner, yes a lot of 1-2s and more than 4 passes completed without losing the ball🎉🎉🥳
After than Partick seemed to try get back in to the game hitting the post and trying loads of long balls but strollers defence stood strong winning everything and Dan Henderson in goal making save after save and tackle after tackle most running he’s done in ages😂.
Half time 1-0 strollers!
Strollers knew the second half would be tough with the rain off but the pitch cutting up majorly and the second half syndrome of we run out of steam and it didn’t kick in till the 65th minute when strollers failed to clear their lines and a cross found the Partick thistle man unmarked to header into the back of the net!
It got worse for strollers after losing 2 players to injury and loss of steam Partick played a long ball over the top with an out rushing Dan Henderson the Partick striker managed to dink the ball over the top of him and despite the efforts of Korben Niven to try stop it the ball ended up in the back of the net.
Full time: Strollers 1 - Partick 2
A game which could have went either way but it was Partick who came out on top!
A lot of positives for the strollers boys today and can only improve after narrowly losing out to a team who’s scored 18 goals in 2 games!!
MOTM ⭐️- Jordan Broadhurst
Unreal game from Jordan today who never put a foot wrong the whole game!
Mon the strollers!!🔴⚫️
