🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🔵⚽

Congratulations to our Istead United Colts U7 Blues, who were crowned Lordswood U7 Tournament Champions! 👏💙

What a way to round off an incredible first season together. The Blues were outstanding throughout the day, going unbeaten and without conceding a single goal on their way to lifting the trophy. 💪🧤

A fantastic achievement and the perfect reward for a hugely successful 2025/26 campaign. Every player has developed brilliantly this season, and this tournament win is the ideal way to head into 2026/27.

Well done to all of the players, coaches and parents - you’ve done the club proud! 🏆💙🖤

⚽ Another Fantastic Day for Our U7 Reds! ⚽

Istead United Colts were brilliantly represented at the Lordswood 6s Tournament today, and our U7 Reds can be incredibly proud of their efforts.

Our lads finished 2nd in their group before earning an impressive draw against the runners-up from the other group, competing brilliantly against some very strong opposition throughout the day. 👏

The performances, teamwork and determination on show were a credit to the players, coaches and parents. Another fantastic experience and plenty to build on ahead of the new season.

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🔴⚽

A huge congratulations to our Istead United Colts U6 Reds, who were crowned Lordswood U6 Tournament Champions today! 👏❤️

In what was the first ever tournament for this fantastic group of boys, they showed incredible determination, teamwork and confidence throughout the day.

What an achievement for this young team and a fantastic reward for all their hard work in training. A massive well done to every player, the coaches and the parents for their fantastic support throughout the day.

This is just the beginning for a very exciting group of young footballers ⚽️⚽️⚽️

🩰 Exciting New Dance Classes Coming to Istead Rise! 🩷

We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte to Istead Rise Memorial Hall, where she’ll be launching brand new children’s dance technique classes every Thursday, starting 27th August.

Charlotte is a professionally trained dancer with international performance experience and is IDTA Dance Teaching qualified, Enhanced DBS checked, and holds a Safeguarding Children Certificate, so children will learn in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

These classes are designed to help children:
💜 Build confidence
🩷 Improve their dance technique
💜 Develop strength and flexibility
🩷 Make new friends
💜 Most importantly, have fun and discover a love of dance!

✨ Trial class: Just £4 per child

It looks like the England squad have arrived early at Istead Club! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍻

We’ve managed to squeeze Pickford, Kane, Saka, Rice and the rest of the lads into the members bar before Saturdays game kick-off… 😂

The only question is… who’s brave enough to challenge them at a game or pool or the darts board? 🎯

Good luck to the Three Lions this weekend – we’ll be cheering you on from Istead Rise Community Centre ! 🦁🦁🦁

A huge shout out to our U8 White side who got to their first ever shield final at the Kings of the town tournament, they unfortunately were on the other side of a penalty shoot out but they played amazingly and the club are very proud of them. Good things to come from this side 👏👏👏
