Pilates in the workplace 🪑✨
Throughout this week nearly 300 workers, across five global companies, are joining me in online chair-based Pilates sessions, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week
Together we are exploring simple ways to aid our mobility, posture and overall wellbeing at work and beyond
After 20 years working in offices, and experiencing chronic back pain myself, this is work that I care deeply about 💛
Even little moments of movement can go a long way in supporting how we feel at work - both physically and mentally. So let’s spread the word!
Wishing you a great Wednesday x

Remindng myself that you can’t out train depletion
Or force body and mind into balance
And that true strength does not always come from pushing harder… ⚖️🌸💫
Have a great week ahead 😊

It’s Back Care Awareness Week 💛
Your spine is an absolute masterpiece of form and function, so let’s look after it ! 🌿
A study by Rodriguez et al. in 2022 found that Pilates had the highest likelihood of reducing both pain (93%) and disability (98%) in people with chronic lower back pain - outperforming every other exercise intervention studied.
The secret? Strengthening deep postural muscles, improving spinal mobility, and building lasting core stability. For best results - consistency is key, which is why I always suggest mat-based exercises for clients to practice at home in between lessons.
Visit www.backcare.org.uk for info or to find a movement specialist near you. And hope you enjoy these five fav artworks that celebrate the incredible spine 🎨
