Many thanks to Sale FC Rugby for hosting us last night. A tough night against higher‑ranked opposition, but plenty of positives to take. The lads stuck at it, learned a lot, and came away with some valuable kick‑off practice.

Next up its Preston Grasshoppers on 5th September.

💥Squad News 💥

Tonight we make the trip over to take on National 1 outfit Sale FC Rugby in a tough pre‑season hit‑out, the perfect early test for the group and a chance for the coaches to see where we’re at.

The coaching team have named a 25‑man squad for tonight’s clash with a mixture of youth and experience.
Safe travels to everyone heading over.

Reminder
No fixture tomorrow for the Hawks, and the clubhouse will be closed due to a private function.

The toughest test yet!

On Friday night we ramp up our preparation for National League Rugby with our toughest challenge of pre‑season with a trip to Sale FC Rugby, one of the oldest clubs in the game.

The game will see our Head Coach Chris Johnson back in familiar territory as he has previously made over 100 appearances for "The Dogs".

The action starts at 7.30pm.

Please note - Saturday's planned Hawks fixture at Harrogate Pythons RUFC has been rescheduled to 19th September.

Tomorrow we have our first hit‑out of the 26/27 campaign as we welcome Eccles RFC to North Dean.

The coaches have named a large squad as they look to spread minutes across the group and we’ve got eight lads making their Heath debuts.

Sunter sparks back into action.

We've deliberately left some of the more popular re-signing announcements til last, here's the first of that batch...... live wire Eddie Sunter.

Eddie is a valuable member of the squad who makes an impact on and off the field. However we lose him for parts of the year when he’s away changing light bulbs on boats, a niche skill set that continues to baffle everyone at the club. He does however manage to get shore-leave when theres a club social on.

Great to have you locked in again, Eddie.

Weekend Bar Staff Required

We are seeking reliable bar staff aged 18 years old or over to support weekend shifts at the club. The role includes serving members and visitors during matchdays, maintaining high customer‑service standards, and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere our club is known for.

On Saturday we have our first pre-season friendly where we take on Eccles RFC at home with a 2pm kick off.

Come down to get your first look at our new recruits in a Heath shirt and give the lads a true Heath welcome.

Jordan Bloem has returned to the club to add some extra versatility to our backline options. Jordan has previously played locally for Halifax Vandals and last season he was at Acklam.

Thanks to everyone that went up to Booth Cricket Club yesterday. Special thanks go to Rick Painter for his efforts on the BBQ, we managed to add £255 to Booths fundraising efforts for Overgate Hospice.

In case you missed it the fundraising is in memory of Oliver Collinge who represented both clubs. The total is now at £6921.
