What a tremendous effort from every single player today.

The result may show a 16-12 defeat, but that scoreline doesn't tell the full story of the commitment, courage, and determination shown by this Halifax Panthers PDRL team. Missing several key players, we knew it was always going to be a tough challenge, but every player who pulled on the shirt today gave absolutely everything for the badge and for each other.

Unfortunately, a few of our own mistakes proved costly, but there is no doubt that the character shown throughout the game was outstanding. We fought for every tackle, every metre, and every opportunity right until the final whistle. Nobody gave up, and that's something every player should be incredibly proud of.

The resilience, teamwork, and spirit on display today are exactly what Halifax Panthers PDRL is all about. Results don't always go your way, but effort, attitude, and heart are non-negotiableβ€”and this team delivered all three in abundance.

We'll learn from today, we'll improve, and we'll come back stronger together.

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled and supported us. Your backing means the world to the players and staff.

Today we fell just short, but the pride, passion, and fight shown in the Halifax Panthers shirt were there for all to see.

Heads high, Panthers. We go again. πŸ’™πŸ’›

As Halifax Panthers LDSL and PDRL, we stand proudly, publicly, and without hesitation alongside our Women's Team and every team that represents the Halifax Panthers badge.

Our club is built on respect, inclusion, and opportunity. We believe rugby belongs to everyone. It does not matter who you are, where you come from, your gender, your disability, your identity, or your background – if you want to be part of our game, you belong here.

We will not stay silent in the face of discrimination. We will not ignore prejudice. We will not accept abuse directed at any player, team, official, volunteer, or supporter.

Those who seek to divide people have no place in our sport. Those who seek to exclude others do not represent the values of Halifax Panthers.

We are proud of our Halifax Panthers Women Team. We are proud of our LDSL players. We are proud of our PDRL players. We are proud of every individual who wears our colours and represents this club with passion, courage, and pride.

This is not about politics. This is about people.
We stand together. We support one another. We defend the right of every person to enjoy rugby in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.

United as one club. United as one community. United against discrimination in all its forms.

IMPORTANT STATEMENT!!!

Halifax Panthers Women are proud to be a team built on respect, inclusion, diversity and community. Our team is for everyone regardless of background, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, ability, or identity and we are committed to creating an environment where every player, coach, volunteer, official, supporter and family member feels safe, welcome, and valued.

As the women’s game continues to grow, reports of abusive, discriminatory and unacceptable behaviour across the game are beginning to rise. This is not something that should ever be accepted as part of sport and has no place in Rugby League

Now more than ever, it is important that we all play our part in protecting the culture of our game and the values that make our team what it is.

Any form of discrimination, abuse, intimidation, offensive language, or unacceptable behaviour has no place at our club and will never be tolerated.

We ask everyone connected to our team whether on the field, on the sidelines or on social media, to align with and uphold the values we represent, showing respect for one another, for the game and for the wider community.

Together, we will continue to build an environment where everyone feels they belong.
