Want to learn to sail? Tamworth Sailing Club are running a combined RYA Level 1 & Level 2 course starting on the evening of Monday 25 April 2022 at Kingsbury Water Park. The course is perfect for complete beginners who have done little or no dinghy sailing and will teach you everything you need to know to become a competent dinghy sailor in light winds. There will be 10 evenings in total, alternating between Monday and Tuesday each week. The course fee includes 10 evenings of instruction plus club membership for the 2022/23 season, giving you plenty of time after the course to carry on developing your skills and meeting lots of likeminded people! Welcome back to the Eskimo Pursuit Race at Blackpool and Fleetwood Yacht Club, back for its 53rd year!
The race will be held on 20th February with the winner taking home a £100 top prize.

RYA Foil Instructor course
We will be running an RYA foil instructor training course between the 29th May and 1st June for anyone interested in training as an RYA windsurf foil instructor.
You will need to be a qualified intermediate windsurf instructor with at least 50 hrs experience.

Hi there. Thanks for reading this post. I'd be interested to know whether their are any Midlands Clubs who apply a Portsmouth Yardstick penalty to Double-Handed boats racing Single-Handed in their club racing series please? If so, what level?
This weekend 29/30th Jan sees the first of the midlands mini series at our club, the County Cooler. Weather looks fairly mild with a good breeze on Saturday and lighter on Sunday. Free to all members from participating clubs.
