🧠💜 Happy World Mental Health Day 💜🧠
At Abbey Dance, we know that dance is about so much more than learning steps. It’s a chance to move, express yourself, build confidence, connect with others and simply have fun. 🩰✨
Research supports this too — a systematic review of 28 randomised controlled trials found that dance interventions can help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. PubMed
So today, we’re celebrating the joy, connection and confidence that dance can bring. 💜
Remember: it’s okay not to be okay, and you never have to struggle alone. ✨

Here’s a selection from Grade 1, Grade 4 and our Seniors — and we can’t wait to see them all shuffling, tapping and strutting their way across the stage! 🎭✨

Just a little longer to wait until we see these routines come to life on stage for Chapter 20! 💫

Just look at these girls flying through the air! 💜 From soaring leaps to sky-high jumps, these dancers are proving that with a little bit of dance magic, anything is possible! 🩰✨

Some of our final photos from our Sarisbury Green rehearsals before we move on to a brand-new backdrop this Sunday! 📸🎭

We can’t wait to capture even more Chapter 20 magic! 💫
