The 2026 Mill United FC festivals are done & what a success they have been!! It’s great to see so many playing football across 2 weekends & making so many memories. Thanks to everyone involved at the club & at every team that came along & were part of it! 🔴⚫️

MU Reds were back at Torglen for their league game against SBC. Well done to all the boys and coaches. 👏🏼

Excellent performance from the boys today. Played with confidence and showed amazing teamwork.
Had a mad 5 minutes which costed us a couple of goals, however the boys rallied and scored more good goals.
Some brilliant one touch football at times today was joy to watch. Rory had some great saves as well. 👏🏼

MOTM today was the salmon Kieran Best.🏆
Two headed goals, some lovely close control and all round hard work. Excellent today, Well done Kieran 👏🏼

Fantastic effort from both teams playing 9-a-side for the first time. They all showed incredible determination, teamwork, and confidence throughout every match. Everyone adapted brilliantly. 👍🏻

The coaches and parents could not have been prouder of the effort, attitude, and quality on display.

Excellent game of football this morning with two really good teams going toe to toe. Boys lost a silly goal from a corner right at the end of the first half but rallied and showed a great determination to not concede again and keep going for the equaliser. Excellent attitude from everyone and throughly deserved the equaliser at the end. Well done boys 👏🏼

Superb performance from him this morning with 5 or 6 cracking saves. Started really well with a great save from a 1v1 that set the tone for the day. Well done. 👍🏻

Blacks ⚫️ - I thought they played well again today and they’ve finished the season looking like they’re moving in the right direction again after a dodgy wee spell of games. Been a pleasure coaching all of them this season and looking forward to the BSA tournament next week when we get our first look at 9 asides. 👏🏼

Whites ⚪️ - Had a bit of slow start to the match and the other teams keeper was having a really good game. Boys dropped behind for a bit of the game but rallied together as a team and were back in it with some well worked goals, one more 7s match to go next week then onto 9s. 👏🏼

Thursday looked different for the MU Blacks tonight playing their league game against Wishaw Wycombe. Well done to all the boys and coaches ⚽️

Better performance overall from the boys tonight, a lot more desire and better work rate than what we’ve been seeing over the last few weeks.
Hoping we carry that into Saturday for our last game of league fixtures and hopefully we can sign off with a good performance and victory 💪

Marcus looked more like himself showing more fight to get in front of his man and held the ball up well and connected play. Well done👏

Great day for a game of football for the whites playing their league game against EK Colts. Started a little slow but the boys grew into the game.
