FROM CAPTAIN TO COACH 💙

Football can be cruel at times.

After 16 months battling injury, two setbacks during rehabilitation, and the devastating news that surgery and 15 months of recovery lie ahead, our captain Aydin faces another challenge in his journey.

But if there’s one thing we’ve learned about Aydin, it’s that leadership isn’t defined by being on the pitch.

Throughout his recovery, he has continued to support his teammates, represent the club with pride, and demonstrate the commitment and character that made him our captain.

We’re delighted to announce that Aydin will be joining the Hamilton United coaching team, where his experience, passion and leadership will continue to help drive the club forward.

This isn’t the end of the road. It’s a new role during a long-term setback.

Once a captain, always a leader. 👏💙
