💥 A wee bit of support goes a long way! ❤️🏃‍♂️
A massive thank you to Biscuit Bill for dropping off a donation towards my London Marathon 2027 challenge with the Braveheart boxing gym Team raising money for Comic Relief . 🏃‍♂️❤️
And because he knows Stark far too well, he didn't turn up empty-handed… biscuits for Stark too! 🐺🍪😂
What a guy! 👏
Really appreciate the support, especially as the marathon training is starting to get a bit more serious now. Plenty of miles, hills, madness and probably a few more biscuits to come! 😂💪
Every donation and bit of support helps and is massively appreciated. ❤️

😂 Been absolutely rubbish at keeping the page updated lately, so here’s a bit of a throwback!
Back in April, we made some personalised keyrings and fence plaques for RCG Hire 🔥
The fence plaques turned out so good that I ended up liking them a little too much… so obviously I had to make myself one as well! 😂
Always good getting to make something a bit different, and even better when the customer loves the finished product.
Thanks again to RCG Hire for the support! 👌

👉 Go check out RCG Hire’s page and see what they’re up to! 🚜🔨

💥 A look back at some of our recent laser work 💥
Over the last few months, things have definitely been falling away a little with the laser hobby. Between work, family and everything else going on, the laser has had to take a bit of a back seat! 😅
But looking back, we’ve still managed to create some great pieces.
🔥 Projects for friends & family
🏆 Medals and awards
❤️ Charity work
🪵 Personalised items
🙌 And lots of work for our fantastic customers
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Davies Laser Engraving & Cutting — whether you've placed an order, recommended us to someone, shared a post or simply followed along.
Every bit of support for this little hobby business is massively appreciated. ❤️
Hopefully there will be plenty more projects to come. The laser may have been a little quieter recently… but we’re still here and still firing! 🔥😎

🏔️ TINTO HILL HIKE-A-THON – WHAT A WEEKEND! 💪🐺
On Friday I contacted Paul from Tell to the Tree about their Tinto Hill event and offered some free medals for their challenge.
Friday night was spent engraving the medals 🔥⚙️… then Saturday morning it was time to put them to the test myself! 😂🥾
A brilliant morning hiking with some great guys — and of course Stark 🐺 was there too!
The challenge was Tinto x3 for me… and Stark managed his own version too! 🐺🏔️🏔️🏔️
All while helping raise money for Prostate Scotland 💙
A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make it such a great event. It was brilliant to be part of it in a small way, and even better to get out there and do it ourselves.

If you can donate or even just share this post, it would be massively appreciated. 🙏❤️
ONE HILL. ONE DAY. ONE PURPOSE. 🏔️💙

THE ROAD TO LONDON STARTS HERE… 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🇬🇧

A few weeks ago, we announced that we had been given places for the iconic London Marathon 2027, representing both Comic Relief and Bravehearts.

This opportunity came from the success of our Long Way Doon challenge, where a team of Bravehearts ran from BBC Glasgow to BBC London and raised over £70,000 for Comic Relief. Through that challenge, we built a brilliant relationship with Barbara and the Comic Relief team — and we’re buzzing that they have trusted us with 18 places for London.

When we asked for applications, the response was unreal. Narrowing it down was honestly so difficult, because every single person had a story and a reason they deserved the opportunity.

This team is a proper mixed bag — some have completed marathons before, some have never gone beyond a half marathon, and some have never even ran a 5K. But that is exactly what Bravehearts is all about: ordinary people stepping outside their comfort zone, believing in themselves and becoming capable of extraordinary things.

Over the next 18 days, we’ll introduce every member of the team individually. You’ll hear their stories, see the work going in, and follow their journey all the way to that famous finish line on The Mall.

Keep your eyes peeled — the first Braveheart London Marathon runner will be announced tomorrow.

London 2027. Comic Relief. Bravehearts. Let’s do this. ❤️

🥾⛰️ CMD ARETE • BEN NEVIS 🖤
What a day with the Bravehearts Boxing Gym team! 👊🥊
Taking on the CMD route up Ben Nevis to celebrate the gym’s 20th Anniversary 🎉🏔️
Some rough conditions along the way 🌧️💨 — but the team dug deep, kept pushing and made it an unforgettable day.
Brilliant challenge. Brilliant people. Brilliant memories. ❤️
20 years of Bravehearts — and what a way to celebrate! 🥊🏔️

Off to America for a much-needed family holiday! 🇺🇸✈️
The Hobby/business will be closed for the next 2 weeks while we take some time away and recharge.
It's been 82 days since my last post 🤦‍♂️ and, after dealing with not one but TWO car problems recently, this break couldn't have come at a better time!
Thanks to all our customers for your continued support. We'll be back refreshed and ready to go soon.
See you in 2 weeks! ☀️🌴
