THANK YOU GRAEME BUTLER
Harlow Town Football Club can confirm the departure of Head of Recruitment Graeme Butler.
We’d like to thank Graeme for his work with the club over the last 5 years in which he was an integral part of our previous reserves side before becoming Head of Recruitment for the First Team in 2023.
Many of Graeme’s signings became first team regulars that went onto lift both the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge cup in 2024 and the Thurlow Nunn Division One South in 2025. Graeme has been an important figure around the first team and we thank him for his time here.
All the best for the future, Graeme.

Not how we wanted it to end but due to unforeseen circumstances, I will be stepping away from my role
5 unbelievable years and leave with a record of winning a trophy at the end of every season at the club.

THANK YOU CAV CLARKE
Harlow Town Football Club can confirm the departure of Cav Clarke from the club. We’d like to thank Cav for his efforts with the club. He joined the side at the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign as a striker, going on to find solid form for the Hawks and banging in 8 goals and assisting 2 in 22 games before having to retire through injury.
He joined Danny Chapman’s coaching staff as GK coach at the start of this season, a top bloke who was well-liked and respected by all within the club, and we thank him for his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.

THANK YOU DANNY CHAPMAN
Harlow Town Football Club can confirm the departure of First Team Manager Danny Chapman.
Danny was a very successful player at Harlow Town FC throughout the 2000s, joining in 2003 and making over 200 appearances for the club.
He departed the club in 2008 and re-joined in 2010 as First Team Manager.
Danny’s time as First Team Manager can be remembered by many successful seasons, competing for promotion to Step 3, gaining promotion via the playoffs in the 2015/16 season, as well as being the manager to bring silverware back to the club for the first time in 18 years in the form of the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup. The following season, Chapman led the club to the Thurlow Nunn Division One South League Title.
We cannot thank Danny enough for his efforts with the club, for the last 23 years he has been involved, with the only gaps between being 2008-2010 and a brief period in 2020.
He will be remembered as a legend of the club who has brought some legendary moments for hundreds of people. We wish him all the best for the future.

THANK YOU THOMAS CHURCH
Harlow Town Football Club can confirm the departure of Thomas Church.
We would like to thank Thomas for his amazing efforts to the club in the space of over a decade.
Thomas joined the club at the age of 10, supporting the First Team home and away and helping out with whatever was needed, including being a ball boy. He was part of the club through our fantastic 2015-16 playoff victory in which we were promoted to Step 3.
Thomas was promoted to the role of First Team Coach in 2022, and was very successful, winning the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup and the Thurlow Nunn Division One South.
Thomas’ loyalty and hard work for the club has not gone unnoticed over the years and he has been a fantastic servant and we wish him all the best for the future.

We can confirm that Logan Young has left Harlow Town Football Club.
Logan joined in May 2023 in a role as Social Media Manager, increasing the club’s following by thousands across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube, whilst gaining millions of views along the way.
He moved into a full-time role with the club in June 2025 and we thank him for his time with the club.
Message from Logan:
I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me in my time with Harlow Town Football Club. I’ve had the most incredible two and a half years, coming in as a young Social Media Manager at 16, we had some amazing moments; the team winning the cup, winning the league, personal ones like winning the Essex FA Media Manager Award, but most of all being around and supported by fantastic people has been the highlight.
Then to come in full-time last June, it has been a rollercoaster even since then and one I’ve had to work hard for, but loved throughout.
I appreciate all of the staff and supporters who made me feel at home and made Harlow somewhere I wanted to be week in week out. It’s definitely not a permanent goodbye, I will be back and see you all soon.

THANK YOU JOHN SHELTON
Harlow Town Football Club can confirm that John Shelton has departed the club.
John has been a pivotal and beloved part of the club for decades, following us home and away, supporting the backroom staff, making sure everything is tidy, greeting players and officials as doorman of the club. Whatever was needed, John always put his hand to it and is honestly just one of the nicest people.
We thank John hugely for his time with the club, there’s only one John Shelton, and he is a Harlow Town legend.

THANK YOU DONNA HARVEY
We can confirm that Donna Harvey has resigned as Secretary of Harlow Town Football Club with immediate effect.
One of the most influential and important people in the modern history of Harlow Town Football Club, and often cited by many as the ‘best secretary in non-league’, Donna has been a role model and an outstanding servant to the club in the last ten years.
Someone who has stood by the club through thick and thin, the club will not feel the same without her and we quite simply cannot put into words our appreciation of her dedication to the club for the last 10 years.
Donna is not just any old Club Secretary, she is a huge part of everything we’ve done, a reason why the club has been a place where hundreds of people enjoy coming to every week. And she is certainly not someone who can be replaced.
We thank Donna for the last 10 years, and wish her all the best for the future.

The boys have worked so incredibly hard for the first part of this season, and it’s been an exciting and encouraging journey for the team so far.
