Panthers U16’s v Coaches and Parents
End of an era match 😞 Lads started strong and organised. Elders held strong in defence. A few scary moments but didn’t give any clear-cut chances away.
Our captain Salam kept us all in line, made sure we did our jobs. Lads did score first with a great delivery from Reece and an amazing cool finish from Ben ⚽️ 🔥 1-0.
Tj was getting a lot of joy on the left-hand side. Managed to tuck a good low ball under keeper Liam ⚽️ 1-1
Azim with a phenomenal volley ⚽️ from Billy’s cross 👌 2-1
Handball in the box gave Shane a penalty ⚽️ top bins. 2-2
Half-time.
Then a run down the wing by Tj set up an easy tap-in for adult Ben ⚽️ 2-3
Adult Ben then assisted Shane for a tap-in. 2-4 ⚽️
Then Tj’s rocket past the keeper ⚽️ 2-5
Lads had a comeback.
Corner with a scuffle in the box, Billy sees them grab one back. 3-5 ⚽️
Azim scored again from a cross, giving him his second volleyed goal (not on vid) 4-5.
After the keeper (Arron) took Liam down in the box 😒 see Mac with an awesome run down the wing and cross for Liam to get revenge with an awesome header ⚽️ 5-5

Game went to pens but experience and wisdom always prevail with us elders taking home the trophy. 🏆

Frontiers Lionesses U14s

3 years & 1 month ago our little Lionesses aged 10 & 11 got together for their 1st ever training session, most never having kicked a ball before.

Roll on 3 years. We have just finished runners up in the league, achieved promotion and now have just been on their 1st ever club tour.

We had a weekend in Hemsby with Tours Ltd, and what a weekend it was.

We never imagined we would win the tournament but we gave it a great go, sadly just missed out on 1st and 2nd but the main thing was some amazing memories being made, not only for the girls but for the parents as well.

Was amazing to see all the girls socialising, smiling & laughing loving life, and football.

Gorleston town won the tournament league, we narrowly lost 1-0 to them and their coach found us at the end and said that we were their hardest match, that they had won every game they have played in their league and Cup this season.

Says a lot about how far these girls have come on in 3 years, that we can go and compete against big clubs and really established teams.

So proud of all the girls, we will defo be doing a tour again next season, was so much fun.
