Today our u15 lionesses played away vs Garston Ladies u15s.

We had a couple of players missing due to illness so went with only 12 players, some of the 12 also not feeling 100%.
Formation needed to be tweaked due to defenders missing but it didn’t affect our performance at all.

We ran out comfortably 2-0 winners, a superb early goal from Scarlett, and then a second one from Paige, smashed home from near to the halfway line.

Our 3 defenders of Ava, Syd and Paige were unbelievable today, bossed it.

Paige won the players player vote, such a great game and played out of position to support the team, fantastic attitude

Ava, Syd and Paige all shared the coaches vote as all 3 were superb.

This win puts us 2nd in the league, and in a new division against tough opponents each week after our promotion last season.

Well done girls, top game as always

Big thanks again to Jill & Ronnie for taking the game again, your support and love to the girls is amazing

Frontiers Lionesses u15

Last week saw us play our 1st game of the league season, weird match that we dominated and had countless chances on goal, 17 corners as well, hit the post 2 twice bit just couldn’t score, our opponents were Wheathampstead, they had 4 efforts on goal and scored 3 goals.
1st match of the season and we lost 3-0, our 2nd heaviest defeat in our history

Players player of the match was Isabelle, making her debut and was outstanding in the middle of the park.

Coaches players went to Lexie, she was back to her very best. Driving runs down the wing, plenty of crosses and shots as well.

Then to this week, my 1st ever match that ive not been at the game.
We played a strong Garston Ladies side.
Jill & Ronnie very kindly took the team for us and put their magic in place.
We ran out comfortably 3-0 winners.
3 brilliant goals from Darcy, Lacey and Scarlett and some really good defending thru the game, especially from Ava.

Players player vote I’m delighted to say went to Ava, Jill said she was absolutely amazing and could easily have won players player and coaches player.

Coaches player thou did go to Lacey, she is just a special player, so talented and every week puts in a real great game

Week one was just a blip, week two was us back to our best.

Well done girls, superb result and thanks to Jill and Ronnie, for the continued support to this amazing group of girls.

Big thanks as always to our outstanding sponsors
