Our final match took us to the beautiful Rudding Park, and what a way to finish the season! With temperatures reaching 30°C by the end of the day, it was certainly a hot one! ☀️🥵

A huge well done to our winning team, with Sue Almond and Charlotte Barrett putting in a fantastic performance and recording an impressive 8 pars on a long and challenging course. ⛳️👏

A special thank you to Rudding Park for organising such a wonderful day, making us feel so welcome and treating us to a delicious afternoon tea. ☕️🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who has played and supported the Ladies Friendly team throughout the season. It’s been great fun, with some fantastic golf and even better company! 💕🏌️‍♀️

⛳ Annual Friendly Match with Alwoodley

On Sunday 9th August, we were delighted to welcome Alwoodley Golf Club to Harrogate for our annual friendly match.

The company, golf and weather were all superb, making for a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone. ☀️🏌️‍♂️

A huge thank you to our Greens Team, Chef Steve and Bar & Catering Manager Clare for all their hard work in helping make the day such a success.

Alwoodley Captain Stephen Ledger was very complimentary about his day at Harrogate, while our own Captain Peter Cronin announced the match as an “Honourable Draw”! 😉

Thanks to everyone from both clubs for making it such a great occasion. We look forward to doing it all again! 👏

⛳ A brilliant experience for our juniors at Woodhall Spa

It wasn’t quite the result we were hoping for, but our juniors have had a fantastic few days at Woodhall Spa, competing in the England Golf Junior Champion Club.

To reach this stage is a brilliant achievement in itself, and the experience of competing against some of the best junior teams in the country will be something they can learn from and build on. 👏

A huge well done to the whole team – a fantastic opportunity, a great experience and plenty to take forward. 💪⛳

⛳ A fantastic start for our juniors!

What a brilliant opening round from Tom, Fletcher and Ted at the English Junior Champion Club at Woodhall Spa today.

The team posted an impressive 67 points, leaving them currently in 3rd place with tomorrow’s round still to come. 👏

A fantastic platform to build on, and they’ll be hoping to push on again tomorrow.
Best of luck to the boys – we’ll be cheering you on! 💪⛳

Twenty-four members enjoyed a fantastic day of golf on a superb course, with great weather, excellent hospitality and, as always, plenty of laughs along the way.
