🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️ AN INTERNATIONAL NIGHT AT HEDNESFORD AFC🇺🇸

A brilliant experience for our players tonight as we welcomed Akinji Soccer from the USA to Hednesford for a special international friendly.

Akinji came out 2–1 winners, but the result was only a small part of what tonight was about.

Our squad, made up of players who represented Hednesford AFC on our recent Spain trip, stepped up against a very talented American side and more than held their own. The effort, quality and confidence they showed was fantastic to see.

Most importantly, they represented our club exactly how we would want them to — playing with a smile, showing respect and enjoying another experience they’ll remember.

From training in Spain 🇪🇸 to facing opposition from the USA 🇺🇸 back home in Hednesford.

More experiences. More memories. More opportunities for our players.

A huge thank you to Akinji Soccer for choosing to visit us as part of their UK trip. It was a pleasure to host you, and we wish you all the best for the rest of your time in England and for the season ahead. 🤝⚽️

🇺🇸⚽️ INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Tomorrow we welcome Akinji Soccer (USA) to Hednesford AFC as part of their tour of England.

Akinji Soccer are linked with the Real Madrid Foundation, making this a fantastic opportunity for some of the players who represented us on our recent Spain trip to pull on the Hednesford shirt again, this time against opposition from across the Atlantic. 🌍⚽️

🔴⚫️ Getting behind one of our own ⚫️🔴

Daz is not only one of our coaches but also a parent of two players at Hednesford AFC, and anyone who knows him around the club will know just how much he gives to it. Nothing is ever too much trouble, he’s always the first to offer a hand, and we’re incredibly lucky to have someone like him as part of our club.

This September, Daz is taking on the Run 60 Challenge, running 60 miles to raise money and awareness for Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

It’s a cause incredibly close to Daz and his family, which makes this challenge even more special. ❤️

We’re proud to get behind Daz and support him every mile of the way. 💪⚽️

If anyone would like to donate, no matter how big or small, or simply share his fundraising page, we know it would mean a lot to Daz and his family.

Good luck, Daz — everyone at Hednesford AFC is behind you! 🙌🏻❤️

🇪🇸 A Special Coaching Experience

On the very first day of our training camp, Miguel, a professional coach and former Barcelona and Valencia coach, watched one of our sessions. Afterwards, he came over to introduce himself and told us how impressed he was with what he had seen. It was brilliant to hear that so much of our football philosophy and approach to developing young players aligned with his own.

This morning we had the pleasure of meeting up properly. We spent time talking football, sharing ideas, and watching him coach. To be able to learn from someone with his experience and bounce ideas was a fantastic experience.

As coaches, you’re always learning, and opportunities like this are invaluable. It’s something we’ll definitely take back with us to Hednesford AFC.

A huge thank you to Miguel for taking the time to meet with us and share his knowledge. It was an absolute pleasure
