🎒 The kids are back… which means the bikes are back too! 🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️

Our junior rides are back up and running, getting the kids back out on the trails, riding with their mates, building skills and having fun.

But it’s not just the kids… 👀

With the start of the new school term, our adult FOMO rides are back too, alongside our regular weekly adult rides.

So whether you’re dropping the kids off at their ride, getting out for your own ride, or making it a family affair…

There really is no excuse for anyone in the family not to get out and ride! 😂🚵‍♀️🌲

From calm SUP adventures on Slovenia's breathtaking rivers to hopping over to Chamonix for another Off Root Jackie Adventure...

We hiked up to the refuge to watch the sunset over the Glacier du Tour, grabbed a few hours' sleep, then woke at 2:15am to hike by headtorch and scramble to the summit in time for sunrise.

A huge thank you to and .faithfull for taking us on such an incredible adventure. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you. Your knowledge, confidence with the ropes, and getting us safely up and abseiling back down made the whole experience possible.

One of the best parts was when the tables turned and my children became the guides, leading me on an Off Root Jackie Adventure. It was pretty special to step out for a hike and let them take the lead.

An incredible experience I'll never forget, and one that's left me excited for many more Off Root Jackie Adventures.

Why biking (and dogs 🐶) are amazing...

Last night at the campsite I made a new friend after stopping to fuss over gorgeous collie. Instant connection... we already had two things in common!

This morning we headed off to explore Velika Planina on what can only be described as a "Jackie adventure" 🤣. That means having a rough idea where I'm going, no actual plan, and hoping to recce an epic future ride.

Poor Kim got to see first-hand that "finding new trails" doesn't always mean effortless whoop whoop fun. Sometimes it means pushing back uphill, wondering where the trail disappeared to, and accepting that it's definitely hike-a-bike time! 😅

She was an absolute legend, took it all in her stride, and never stopped smiling. Thanks for a brilliant day, Kim. It's days like these that remind me it's the people you meet along the way that make the best adventures. ❤️

Slowest ride ever today… and exactly what we needed. 🚵‍♀️💙

Just 15 miles, but it took all day.

We rolled from our campsite into Lake Bohinj along the cycle path, then spent the day lazily pedalling around the lake, stopping whenever the crystal-clear water tempted us in. Swim, ride, dry off… repeat. Sometimes the best rides aren't about distance or speed, they're about slowing down enough to enjoy where you are.

Tomorrow, we'll be back chasing trails or maybe not... who knows where tomorrow will take us as we haven't planned that far yet. Today was for simply chilling out.

Leaving Leogang Bike Park behind and heading into Slovenia via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. 🇦🇹➡️🇸🇮

First stop: Kranjska Gora and its stunning glacial rivers. After yesterday's adrenaline-fuelled riding, today was all about slowing the pace—riding our MTBs along crystal-clear alpine rivers, splashing through the riverbeds, and stopping whenever we fancied a cooling dip. Flip-flops and a bikini instead of body armour... I'm Off Root for a reason! 😉

We rode straight from the campsite on dedicated, well-signposted cycle paths all the way to the rivers and Lake Jasna. Slovenia really has it sorted—you can explore so much without needing the van.

A perfect reminder that mountain biking isn't always about downhill thrills. Sometimes it's about finding beautiful places and enjoying the journey.

Summer training... ☀️🚐🚵

We've pimped the van with a four-poster bed... turned upside down. A bit of Grand Designs meets Cowboy Builders engineering, but somehow it works. Our new penthouse suite does require a yoga session every time we get in and out... but the bikes fit, and that's what really matters. 😅

Perfect timing driving through Belgium meant we caught the football as they beat the USA, then today it was finally time to ride in Saalbach... and it definitely didn't disappoint. The only thing better than the trails was cooling off afterwards. 🏞️💦

Still smiling... and still a little emotional. ❤️

This Tuesday night I was completely surprised with a celebration for Off Root's 10th birthday. Somehow you all managed to keep it a secret! Thank you Shapour & family for opening your home to everyone .

Thank you to every single person who has been part of this journey. I feel incredibly blessed, lucky and grateful.

Off Root is what it is because of you all—our amazing young riders, the adults who keep coming back week after week, and our fantastic instructors who help inspire confidence, skills and a love of riding.

You've been there through some of my hardest moments, from losing my dad to recovering after being knocked off my bike. Yet every week, you remind me why I do this. Coaching, riding and sharing the trails with such wonderful people brings me so much happiness.

Thank you for believing in Off Root and for believing in me.

Here's to the next 10 years of adventures, laughter, muddy bikes and making even more memories together. ❤️🚵
