💚 Building a love of football

30/10/2026

🎃⚽ October almost wrapped up at THA!

Another month of football, fun, learning and plenty of smiles across our sessions. 💚

This month our players have been working hard, building confidence, developing their skills and enjoying their football — exactly what THA is all about.

And of course, we have to finish October with a little Halloween spirit! 👻

Now we turn our attention to November and our next monthly theme: 1v1 Battles.

Bring it on. 💚⚽

At our 8–11 Beginner session, players can practise football skills, try them out in activities and enjoy playing with others.

Can your child turn away from pressure and find space? ⚽

The L-turn is a simple skill to practise: drag the ball back with the sole, take it across your body with the inside of the same foot, then turn and accelerate away.

Try it slowly first, then build up the speed. Save this tip and practise it together!
