A chilly blustery day at Stoney Cove. Fun with Ooen Water, Advanced Open Water and Drysuit courses. Hoping the rain stays away for the shore cover peeps!!

Can’t wait for our next Finding Scuba trip on Big Blue Safari 12-19 July 2025, Deep South itinerary . Spaces still available, please comment or message if you would like more information. Have been many times on this liveaboard and have never been disappointed, great boat, great crew, great diving 😀

Here we go again, another dry dock update.

Lots of hidden works to be undertaken this year. Whilst we have always been ahead of the masses with safety features, we will continue to improve where we can.

As an example, there will be a new firewall in the engine room, fully sealed down to the keel, slowing the progress of any engine room fires and providing crucial extra time for evacuation. It will also stop any oil/fuel spillages travelling along under the cabins with the potential hazards [and smells] that creates.

Our main concern is and always has been the safety of the guests and crew. It’s not trying to be the biggest or sleekest, we leave that to others. Big Blue is a traditional safari dive boat, built for handling all weathers with plenty of space and comfort on board.

We look forward to the new season and welcoming everyone on board.

We were delighted to welcome Poppy for a DSD last week, looked after by Mick and Richard. She did exceptionally well and we are looking forward to seeing her in the water again very soon 😀🤿

What a wonderful week we all had at Roots Red Sea, Egypt, time travelling underwater on New Year's Eve into the New Year!
We started with the most amazing dinner, provided by Omar and Ahmed, and looked after in the dining room by Magdey, Fareed and Ahmed. This was followed by a night dive, going into the water in 2024 and coming out in 2025 - magical.
Then some time sitting around the fire with our friends, great fun had by all!
