Great to welcome Alex, Gordon and Ryan from Andrew Wright Windows for an information session on their Fabricator opportunities.
Production Manager Gordon took participants through what the role involves: working from detailed worksheets, assembling components, and finishing with glazing.
He explained that no experience is needed and full training is provided by the fabrication team, with the chance to work towards an SVQ qualification through Ayrshire College. What they are looking for is the right attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
As Gordon put it: "every day is a learning day".
Participants met the team 1:1 and completed applications on the day! Thanks to Alex, Gordon and Ryan for coming to our office to meet our candidates.
If your organisation would like to meet our candidates, learn more about our programmes, and be part of this community-focused approach, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message or email [email protected] to get involved!

Early Stage Employability Worker
The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT) is hiring an Early Stage Employability Worker to support adults for whom a conventional employability offer comes far too early.
You'll provide a dedicated confidence, readiness and early employability strand for adults furthest from the labour market.
For some adults, particularly those facing poverty, poor health, trauma, low confidence or disrupted lives, a conventional employability offer comes too early or feels unattainable. Your focus is the foundations that make progression possible later: confidence, routine, participation, relationships, practical experience and a sense of capability.
Working within each person's existing family plan, you'll offer flexible, strengths-based support with no compliance or progression requirement attached. You'll work closely with Family Navigators and the Progression Coordinator so people move on to further support when they're genuinely ready — not before.
Application closing date: 6 September 2026
The completed application forms, Equality Monitoring Forms and Self Declaration forms should be sent to [email protected] or Bryan Hamilton, People, Skills & Culture Manager, CEIS Ayrshire, Landek House, 44-46 Bank Street, Irvine, KA12 0LP.

Community Engagement Worker
The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT) is hiring for a Community Engagement Worker.
You'll make sure there's “no wrong door” into Family Forward Ayrshire for families least likely to self-refer or engage with formal services.
You'll be a trusted local presence for the programme, building relationships with community organisations, schools, minority ethnic communities, peer networks and voluntary groups across all three Ayrshire areas.
You'll work particularly with communities experiencing poverty, exclusion or barriers to services, supporting families to take their first steps into the programme, and feeding back what communities are experiencing so the programme stays responsive to local needs.
Application closing date: 6 September 2026
The completed application forms, Equality Monitoring Forms and Self Declaration forms should be sent to [email protected] or Bryan Hamilton, People, Skills & Culture Manager, CEIS Ayrshire, Landek House, 44-46 Bank Street, Irvine, KA12 0LP.
