Lower Erne Clay Pigeon Club

The club would like to congratulate Willie Moore and Alfie Moore on there selection to the northern ireland FITASC sporting team to compete at the home Internationals in Scotland in October and to Alfie on his selection as team captain. We wish them well on there journey and hopefully bring home some silverware.

Next shoot will be the 5th of September. Hope to see you's there, couldn't think of anything better to do this coming Saturday, than trying out our sporting target's 💥.

Our next shoot will be Saturday, August 22nd. Hope to see you all at the club! I would like to give credit to the guys setting up the sporting. We try for different variations of targets every shoot, not too easy and not too hard, throughout the 5 stands, so it will suit all levels of experience. So come along and give it a try! 💥💥

Its with great sadness to inform yous all of the passing of Joe Kilfedder. Joe was a long time member of the club and until recent times due to his illness he was a regular attendant. Always time for a chat and a bit of banter he loved shooting at lower erne . The clays we all seemed to miss joe could surprise us all and break them no bother. His presence will b missed by all in the club and the committee and all club members would like to pass on there sincere condolences to his wife Heather and son Ronnie Kilfedder and the wider family circle .
For anyone wishing to pass on there condolences there will b a wake at ballycassidy house funeral home on Tuesday 11th between 5 and 8pm and funeral on Wednesday 12th at colaghty parish church at 130pm.

Our clay snooker competition proved as fun and competitive as ever. Scores where pretty tight until Roy Hamilton stepped in and shot a hps, 5 red 5 blacks and all the colours to hit 67 outstanding shooting.
2 pool stands keep everyone on there toes with a high tower on one and a pair of 100 yd teals.
The 15 DTL had 6 straights and the final seen 3 go into a sudden death single barrel round and all 3 missed a clay in a row for them to go at it again until a winner was got.

A few club members headed over to lettermoney cpc today to shoot the lady of the lake festival shoot. A 30 bird sporting and 20 abt layout. At the end 1 clay split 1st and 2nd and a sudden death shoot off to decide 2nd and 3rd.
