After leading the way all season defeats in their last 3 matches against Donemana 2nds, Maghera 1sts and Bready 2nds see North Fermanagh 1sts slip into 2nd spot in the league for the first time this season. Graemes men know only a win will do tomorrow to take the league title against a tough opponent in Drummond 1sts away.
Bready 2nds were the visitors last weekend to Kesh and the difference in the two sides was a big hitting century from Breadys Aaron Cooke 👏. Matty Morrison quick fire 50 had give us a good chance but unfortunately with only 4 balls to go Bready reached the required total.

Our 2nds know that a win strengthens their chances of a 2nd place finish in their first year in league 2 and a potential promotion 2 years in a row depending on how our 1sts result go. Sion Mills has already the league sewn up and promotion back to league 1 secured. 👏
Glendermott 2nds have 2 matches remaining and would need 2 big wins to overtake Usamas men into 2nd place if they can get a good result away to Coleraine 2nds tomorrow.

North Fermanagh One Win Away from Senior Cricket Return

North Fermanagh Cricket Club are calling on the local community to get behind them this Saturday as they welcome Bready to Kesh for what could be a season-defining League One encounter.

With just two matches remaining, North Fermanagh sit top of the table and know that victory over second-placed Bready would secure the League One title and, with it, a return to senior cricket.

It promises to be a huge afternoon at Kesh, with the top two sides in the division going head-to-head and everything still to play for.

For Bready, Saturday represents their final league fixture of the season and their last opportunity to put pressure on the leaders. For North Fermanagh, the equation is simple – win on Saturday and they are League One champions.

Should Bready take the points, North Fermanagh would still have another opportunity to clinch the title when they travel to Drummond for their final match of the campaign. However, everyone associated with the Kesh club would dearly love to finish the job on home soil.

It has been a superb season for North Fermanagh, with the players putting themselves in this position through consistent performances throughout the campaign. Now, with the finishing line in sight, the club is hoping for a big local crowd to provide some extra encouragement for the players.

Cricket has a long and proud tradition in Kesh and the surrounding area, and Saturday provides an opportunity for supporters, former players, families and anyone from the local community to come along and be part of what could be a memorable day in the club's history.

A return to senior cricket would be a significant achievement for North Fermanagh and a reward not only for the current playing squad, but for the many people who give their time to keep the club moving forward both on and off the field.

There is still one major hurdle to overcome, however, and Bready will arrive in Kesh determined to ensure the title race goes down to the final weekend.

North Fermanagh will therefore be taking nothing for granted.
What they would love is to see the boundary packed with familiar faces, making plenty of noise and getting behind the team from the first ball to the last.

Big win at the weekend for our 2nds against league leaders Sion Mills 1sts to move into 2nd only a couple of points of the lead with only 1 match to go. A great display of power hitting from Basit saw him hit 102 including 10 fours and 6 sixes. A disciplined bowling display from North Fermanagh restricted Sion with wickets from Jai (4wkts), Nishant (3wkts) and Qaiser (2wkts).

Catch up on recent Results from our 1sts and 2nds. The ups and the downs of cricket. Some great team and individual performances. Notably Shahzeb Saif 🔥 for our 2nds scoring 203 runs in his last 4 matches including a fine knock of 123 against The Nedd 1sts. 50s for Rawal (56) and Wasif (63) and his maiden 50 for the club Hassan 🔥 (51) making recently more appearances for the 1sts for his fine performances, his 1st 50 for the club with many more ahead.

In the Firsts 50s for David Smith (54 not out) and Rashid Waseem 63 both together making a 100 partnership to secure a win against Ardmore 2nds. And also yet so close to another 100 was big hitting Badar who fell agonisingly close to another 100 ending up on 94 away to Donemana 2nds. In the same match after his recent 1st 50 for the 2nds Hassan went very close to adding another 50 to his collection with a power hitting 46 for the 1sts.
