THE IMPORTANCE OF PROGRESS PHOTOS (FOR POWERLIFTING)
Physique isn’t the goal.
Performance is.
But your bodyweight and composition still directly impact how you lift.
That’s where progress photos come in.
Not for aesthetics.. for control.
👉 Weekly
👉 Same time, same setup
They give you a visual check alongside your bodyweight and performance.
Because the scale alone doesn’t tell you enough.
👀 Are you gaining unnecessary body fat in a surplus?
👀 Are you losing too much size during a cut?
👀 Are you filling out your weight class properly?
That dictates your calories.
Not guesswork.
🍎 If weight is up but you’re spilling over → pull slightly
🍎 If weight is static and you look underfilled → push food up
🍎 If performance is climbing and physique is stable → hold
Photos keep your diet aligned with performance, not just the scale.
Most lifters ignore this…
Then wonder why they feel heavy, slow, or underpowered.
Get it right and you stay in the optimal spot for your class.

Most people wait.
Wait for time.
Wait for confidence.
Wait for the “right moment”.
It never comes.
The ones you look at and rate?
They just started… and didn’t stop when it got hard.
Fed up with "ifs" "buts" and "maybes"?

Hit a PR total or bomb out. Imo it doesn’t change the fact that it takes serious balls to step on the platform and put yourself out there.
Most won’t.
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles…
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena"
Nordics + bands + chains = constant tension.
No band → can’t get enough reps/tension.
Just band → too easy.
Add chains → more stimulus + progressive overload.
