AWAY VS WESTELLA & WILLERBY

Tough away day today for the boys!!!

After playing them at the start of the season away and Sharks banging loads of goals in and conceding very little westella & Willerby upped there game and gave a good performance today,

Our lads started slow and it was evident that we'd missed our training sessions and had 12 days off, this showed in the first game.

Second game we started playing and it was alot more competitive.

Well done to all the boys as always 👏

The Bransholme Bears Under 9s defended the home soil in style tonight! We had a packed house at our home ground for two cracking matches against West Hull and Cottingham.

It was a brilliant evening of rugby, with our Bears showing plenty of heart and some clinical finishing. There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of a home game, and the team certainly rose to the occasion! 🐾🔥

While every single player put in a shift to be proud of, a huge well done goes to our Players of the Match:

What a fantastic night of rugby for our Under 8s! The energy on the pitch was electric as our young Bears took part in some amazing games alongside Kingswood Knights, East Hull, and Holderness Vikings. 🏉

A massive THANK YOU to Kingswood for hosting such a great event. It’s always a pleasure to see the local rugby community coming together to support the next generation of talent!

Our squad played their hearts out today, showing incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. While everyone did us proud, we have a few special mentions for tonight...

What a fantastic morning of rugby! Our young Bears took on the Lambwath Lions in two really tough, high-energy games. The team showed amazing bravery in defense and played some brilliant rugby to score some top-drawer tries! 👏🔥

Opponents' Players of the Match: Huge well done to our co-captains, Lachlan and Archie! They led the team brilliantly, scored a bunch of tries, and were picked by the opposition for their outstanding play. 🏉🌟

Player of Steel: This week goes to Logan! He worked so hard in the middle, powering forward and helping the team move up the pitch every time he had the ball. 💥

Awful news this morning. What a great man and ambassador he was for MND. Dealt with the passing of his son and Legend Rob Burrow in the media spotlight unbelievably well. RIP Geoff

It is with deep sadness that the club has learnt of the passing of Geoff Burrow, the father of Rob Burrow. Our deepest condolences go to Geoff's wife Irene and the whole Burrow family at this time. May he rest in peace

Ethan was a powerhouse today! He put in some brilliant runs and was super solid in defense with some great tackles. A really determined performance that the sidelines loved watching! 🙌

⭐ Managers’ Player: Mylo
Mylo gave it 100% today. He showed so much bravery, putting in some amazing tackles and working incredibly hard for his teammates on every single play. Top effort, Mylo! 💪

⭐ Coaches’ Player of Steel: Reegan
Reegan showed exactly what being a Bear is all about. His leadership skills are growing every week, always encouraging the boys and keeping the team's morale high when it matters most. Great job! 🗣️❤️
