The kit made its debut in Sunday’s huge victory over FC Humber Wanderers and is now ready to accompany the team on the road.
A huge thank you once again to our front-of-shirt sponsor Dylan Ward Music and sleeve sponsor Filthy Red for their fantastic support. We’d also like to extend our appreciation to our home kit sponsors Solar Roofing Installations UK and local boxer Liam Macmillan for their continued backing of the club.

AFC Banks cruised to victory in today’s fixture, with a fine display of attacking intent.
In the first half Banks got the ball done nice and early and played some quality football in the midfield, with banks carving the opposition open, 12 mins in with a great ball from D.Penn to find C.Morgan-Hanson to break the deadlock. The half continued to he one way traffic with Banks consistently testing the resolve of the opposing GK. Banks struck a second goal in the 36th min as D.Gibbs found B.Blyth who managed to squirm a shot past the outstretched goalie and beyond the recovering defender. HT 2-0.
Shortly into the 2nd half, 48 mins in, C.Morgan-Hanson turned provider as he teed up A.Oddy up for a quality finish for his first of the afternoon. Banks continued to dominate on the ball throughout and created some cracking chances, if not for some great saves from the opposing GK. 58 mins in K.Wadforth scored from range from a B.Blyth assist. 70th min, A.Oddy scored his 2nd of the tie after an incisive pass from J.Andrews split the Wanderers defence and found the attacker. A.Oddy rounded off his Hat trick in the 83rd after being teed up from K.Wadforth before on the 85th D.Gibbs let out a rocket from range to make it 7-0. Wanderers did score shortly after with a lovely goal for their 1st of the afternoon however Banks scored twice more in the dying embers through N.Oladjko & a D.Penn finish after a cut back from R.Thomas to round off a quality afternoon of attacking display from Banks.
A quality performance from every single player today, and a cracking display of football from the boys.
MOTM: A.Oddy
today’s stand out performers B.Blyth & J.Steel linked up well down the left flank putting some quality football on display, a joy to watch. As well as a superb performance from GK J.Morgan, producing some magnificent saves and was unlucky not to keep the clean sheet. However today’s MOTM was A.Oddy for a well taken hat trick and non stop desire to press and win the ball from the word go, setting the tone for the whole side.

FT | Football For All York 5-3 Banks
Banks fell to defeat on their travels despite a great performance.
In the first half, Banks played some quality flowing football but struggled to find the incisive pass in the final third. Despite winning duel after duel in the middle, banks saw theirselves fall behind rather late in the half as a FFA attacker snuck in behind the defence at the back post to finish from close range. Banks tried to find a leveller before half time but came up short.
In the second half, Banks again started well but sound found the deficit had doubled, this is where N.Oladjko grabs his first of the game, to finally draw first blood for Banks. After the first goal went in, Banks found their rhythm and started committing men forward and carving out some quality chances to no avail, Banks sound theirselves 4-1 as FFA scored twice in quick succession to put the game behind any reasonable doubt. N .Oladjko struck twice again in the last 10 minutes to give us a FT score 5-3. Wasn’t to be on the day but we go again next week Graces Guardians away.
MOTM: J.Allen
Nominated by the opposition, Jake takes today’s MOTM after marshalling the midfield like a general, as stand in Captain. Jake wasted no opportunity in winning ever half ball and 50/50, showing a quality defensive desire, as well as playing some great football in the middle to create some quality chances for Banks, keeping us ticking over and on the front foot from the word go. A resolute performance from the man in the middle, well in J.Allen 👏

💙🧡 Sands v Banks 💙🤍
Banks continue their fine run of form with a great result.
We will preface Sands gave us a great game and the scoreline doesn’t reflect the complexion of the game, with charity of course being the main focus.
The first half started well from both sides, with Sands testing stand in goalie K.Zlotos resolve
early on. However Banks soon found their groove, with R.Thomas striking Banks into the lead. The goals continued to flow with R.Thomas bagging 4 alongside T.Munjeri and C.Morgan-Hanson grabbing 2 to make it
The 2nd half was played in a very similar vein as Banks managed continue with B.Blyth bagging a brace. alongside a very unfortunate own goal from Sands.
Sands finally found a goal that came at the end from a well worked corner.
A big shoutout to Sands young goalkeeper who made some great saves and kept the scoreline down 👏
MOTM: E.Romano
Eliseo again scoops up MOTM following a solid performance in both defence and attack. Commanding the right flank notching up an assist and locking down the defence for a formidable effort.
We take a break next week, as the mighty Tigers take to Wembley. UTB 💙🤍.
