🏆 CUP RUN BEGINS! 🔥

A great result yesterday to get our cup campaign off to a winning start! 💪

It was a bit shaky at times, but the girls stayed composed and maintained a good, steady level of play. We managed to find the net twice in the second half to secure the win and book our place in the next round! ⚽️⚽️

👏 Well done to everyone — another good win under our belts, and we now look ahead to the next round.

⭐ Managers’ POTM: Anna
⭐ Players’ POTM: Sophie
⭐ Supporters’ POTM:Millie

Well done, girls! 👏❤️

We now turn our attention to Sunday, where we face Loughborough Dynamo on their home turf.

Have fun swiping through this one! 10-0 win in the cup at home to Sutton Bonnington 🔥🏆

Too much to explain but the lads played exceptionally well, working together perfectly to put together successful counter attacks. We were confident with our 4-0 half time lead but the goals kept flooding in come the second half - with some incredible finishes from Ed Loftus and Tom Webb from distance 💫

Ed Loftus ⚽️⚽️⚽️🅰️
Dan Wood ⚽️⚽️⚽️🅰️🅰️🅰️
Thomas Webb ⚽️⚽️🅰️🅰️
Tesfa Matthew ⚽️🅰️
Joe Borland ⚽️
Oli Borland 🅰️
Connor Page 🅰️
George Mills 🅰️

Players of the match were tough to give as everyone played their part to a tee, but Ed Loftus and Dan Wood take Players POTM and Supporters POTM for their goal contributions, while Oli Borland takes Managers POTM for not letting anything past the midfield and for enforcing the match 🏆

We play Woodhouse Imperial in the league next week away as we aim to keep our performance rolling ⚽️

💛🖤Match Report 💛🖤

This morning our Under 11 Girls Team welcomed Borough Alliance to our 3G pitch at Cedars Academy.

It was a very competitive game and the girls played very well with an excellent attitude from the start. On show today we saw excellent teamwork and togetherness, brilliant spells of movement and quick passing. Super goals by Elsie ⚽️⚽️ and Daphne ⚽️ and well done to Maddie 🏆 and Harlow 🏆 who were our Girls of the Game today.

Thank you as ever for the support of our parents. Thank you to our sponsors Goscote Services and Fosse Bearing Units Ltd
