A friendly, Leicester based community paddlesport club ran entirely by volunteers who love what they do. This is a great place to practice more wet skills.
Based over 2 sites, Kilby Bridge and Leicester City, we have fun all over the place in Canoes, Kayaks and Paddleboards We operate our club nights from the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre/LOPC all year round (Thursday), and Kilby Bridge April to October (Tuesday). 2 excellent outdoor first aid courses were ran by to bring our volunteers and members bang up to date. Obviously very important so that we can keep each other safe, but also lots of fun to learn in an outdoor, powerpoint free environment.

Last night we changed our long paddle and family session into a bold attempt at helping to tackle the pennywort explosion on one of our favourite sections, the barrow loop.
A large group of paddleplus'ers worked in the dark to remove cut, float and move it onto the bank, resulting in a channel that almost got us to the foot bridge. More removal needed, but its progress.
