⚽ Witham Juniors U10s vs Ruskington U10s⚽

A slightly different match report this week.

When Ben and I set this team up, it was about so much more than just teaching them how to play football. It was about respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and learning to play the game in the right way.

Week after week, we see all of these values shining through, and we couldn’t be prouder of the team.

Another positive result today, but more importantly, we’re seeing some excellent football, a fantastic attitude and a real togetherness within the group. These are lessons that will stay with the team, long after their time with us, wherever their football journeys take them.

🏆 POTM: Ellis 🏆

Ellis was exceptional today. His work rate, attitude and overall contribution to the game were outstanding. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match!

⚽ Goals from: Harry, Freddie, Alfie, Frankie and Oscar.

As always, the result is great, but seeing them grow as players, teammates and people is what it’s really all about.

Proud of every single one of them. UTWJ 💙⚽️

Thank you to Chris Holland for the fantastic photos as always 📸 👏🏼

⚽️💙 WITHAM JUNIORS UNDER 9’s MATCH REPORT 💙⚽️

Today we welcomed HBW at home, a fixture that has always been a tough challenge! After last week, the response we saw from the team today was absolutely fantastic. 👏🔥

From the moment the team started their warm-up, you could see they were focused, switched on and ready for the battle. Today we pressed quickly, worked hard for each other, gave the opposition no time or space, and were firm but fair in our challenges. We controlled the game from start to finish and showed exactly what this team is capable of! 💪⚽️

One of the highlights today was arguably one of the best team goals we’ve scored! 🤩 Straight from the training ground and onto the pitch, starting from the back, every player getting a touch, moving the ball brilliantly, and finishing with the ball in the back of the net. Absolutely superb! 🙌 That’s what happens when we trust each other, move the ball and play as a team.

Every single player played their part today, and the attitude, effort and togetherness on show made us incredibly proud. 💙

⭐ PLAYER OF THE MATCH – GRAYSON ⭐

A thoroughly deserved award today! Grayson covered every blade of grass, battled hard, tracked back, drove forward and was completely selfless in his play. He also assisted two of our goals! 👏 His work rate and willingness to do the hard yards for the team were outstanding. A fantastic all-round performance, Grayson well done! 🏆💙

🙏 A massive thank you to all the parents and supporters for their continued support, to the respect marshall, and to the referee for a great game 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Today was a brilliant reminder of what we can achieve when we work hard, believe in each other and play for the badge. We bounced back in style, and we couldn’t be prouder of the team💙⚽️

UP THE WITHAM! 💙🙌

🏆 UNDER 9’s PLAYER OF THE MATCH – REX 🧤⚽

A huge congratulations to our Under 9’s #1 Rex, who was deservedly named Player of the Match! 💙👏

Rex was absolutely outstanding between the sticks today. 🧤 He showed brilliant shot-stopping, confidence, determination and bravery, making some fantastic saves when his team needed him most.

He was constantly communicating with his defenders, making himself big, getting down low to make saves and never giving up on a ball. His reactions and positioning were fantastic, and he gave the team so much confidence from the back.

Being a goalkeeper takes a special kind of mentality, you have to be brave enough to put your body on the line, stay focused and bounce back from every moment. Rex showed all of that today. 💪💙

A fantastic performance from our #1!
You should be so proud, Rex! 🧤🏆

Well deserved, little superstar! ⭐️⚽💙
