Same room, just a few months apart. 🥹🤍

It’s funny looking back at these videos now, because I remember standing in that empty room trying to picture what it could become.

The best part isn’t even seeing the room finished, it’s that people are actually walking through the door, sitting down, telling me their stories and trusting me with their care🙏

The room I spent so long imagining is now somewhere I get to do what I love every day. Still feels a little surreal, to be honest.

After weeks of renovating it’s been so lovely to finally welcome everyone in and see the clinic come to life!

From arriving and settling in, to having treatment tailored to you, this is exactly what I wanted Core Therapy to be🙋‍♀️

And just like that… my last day at my old clinics is done 🥹🤍

It feels especially strange saying goodbye to North Scarle because this is really where my business properly got going. I’ve spent years treating from different spaces, building my diary, learning what I wanted from a clinic and saying that one day I’d have somewhere of my own. On Friday, instead of packing everything up ready to move into another treatment room, I got to take it all to my own clinic 😭 Definitely one of those days I think I’ll remember for a long time…

There are still a few finishing touches to get through this weekend (because obviously we couldn’t make it TOO relaxing 😂), but the next time I get ready for a day of patients, I’ll be heading to 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮

ONE WEEK TO GO 🙈🤍
How are we at this point already?! 😂

The last couple of weeks have been a LOT. The toilet has been completely ripped out, flooring changed, pipework boxed in, toilet and sink plumbed in, painting done, skirting boards fitted… and the reception/consultation area is finally starting to look like the space I’ve had in my head for months 🥹

There are still plenty of finishing touches to add, and the treatment room is currently sitting very empty because silly me still needs all of my furniture to actually work until Friday 😂 So no proper finished reveals just yet 👀

One final week of finishing, moving, cleaning, styling and probably several last-minute panics… then Core Therapy Lincoln officially opens its doors.

Feel like I’ve introduced 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮 approximately 700 times over the last few weeks… but haven’t actually introduced myself 😂🤍

So hiiii 👋 I’m Georgia

I started my sports massage business at 16 and have been self-employed ever since. A few different treatment rooms, part-time employment, a LOT of patients and nearly three years of my four-year Osteopathy degree later… somehow I’m now 20 and about to open my own clinic 🥹

The way I work has changed a lot over the years too. I’m a big believer in treatment being built around the person in front of me, rather than following the same routine every appointment.

𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮 is really just the next step in all of that. Somewhere I can keep developing the way I work as my career grows 🤍
