Table Tennis Ulster partnered up yesterday with ABC council to offer taster sessions throughout the festival day for all those interested in engaging with our sport

Great fun was indeed had by all 🏓. Thanks to the team of Alek, Frank and Ala for making it such a success.

Successful Activator Coaching in Ballymoney 🏓

Frank Shirley ran the course for a small number of Our Lady of Lourdes's and Saint Pius staff - and was even joined by our new Participation & Inclusion officer Jane Smyth plus other staff came in during the course to play and be coached by the staff in training.

Another 7 qualified and another 2 schools ready to take Table Tennis 🏓 into their extra curricular program this year

Thanks to Frank for leading on this and indeed for all his hard work in the North East region of the province.

🏓 TTU Summer Camp in Coleraine!

TTU enjoyed a fantastic week promoting table tennis at local summer camps, giving young people the opportunity to try the sport, develop new skills and have plenty of fun along the way.

🏓 A fantastic month of council summer camps!

TTU visited leisure centres in Larne, Carrickfergus, Ballymena and Coleraine, introducing table tennis to an impressive 232 young people — 133 boys and 99 girls — from 58 different primary and secondary schools.

Here are a few photos from the Coleraine camp, where everyone had a great time learning new skills and enjoying the sport.

TTU will now follow up with several schools that had strong attendance at the camps, helping to create more opportunities for young people to keep playing! 👏

🏓☀️ Summer Scheme Fun! ☀️🏓

It was a busy and enjoyable July for Table Tennis Ulster, with fantastic summer scheme sessions at St Comcille’s Primary School and Shimna Integrated College.

Pupils at St Comcille’s enjoyed four fun-filled days developing their table tennis skills, playing games and even making the most of the sunshine on the outdoor table! Meanwhile, students at Shimna learned new skills, improved their technique and enjoyed plenty of great rallies.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to both schools for welcoming TTU. We’re already looking forward to returning to Shimna for more sessions in September! 😊
