First open water dives for some new trainees in the snow!

Liverpool Uni underwater hockey team won the novice league at Oxford on Saturday!!!
It was a great day! Congratulations to all involved.. we finally have something to put in the cabinet on the long walkway to the pool at !
We had two new players that started with us in September playing for the team! As it is a bit of an unusual sport we struggle to recruit new students, but this goes to show you can go to from taster session newbies to competition winners in afew months! If any liverpool / LJMU Uni students (including PhD / post doc and staff!) are looking for a team to get involved in slide into our DMs. We’re always looking for people mad enough to try the sport! (Disclaimer: must be able to swim).

We had a lovely time meeting divers who qualified with other agencies, we hope to welcome you all to our BSAC club soon!

We have newbies playing in the shallow and experienced players playing in the deep end.. 3.8m!!

We have space on the taster session on Friday, if anyone else wants to come and try it!!
