*****PADI Open Water Referral ****

Don’t like the cold and going on holiday but don’t want to spend half your vacation in a classroom or swimming pool doing your training? Then the Open Water Referral course is ideal for you.

Before you go on holiday you can get your E-Learning and pool sessions out of the way, meaning all you have to do on holiday is your 4 Open Water Dives. All you need to do is find a PADI school where ever you are going and we will ensure you are ready for your tropical adventure.

Once you have completed all the necessary theory sessions, knowledge reviews and final exam you are then ready for your pool sessions.

The confined session then introduces you to all the equipment and in water skills you are required to complete. The pool sessions are conducted in our onsite heated swimming pool, to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during your first SCUBA experience.

Once you have completed all your theory and pool sessions you are ready for your 4 open water dives which you can complete during your holiday in tropical surroundings. We will supply you with all the neccessary paperwork you will need to take with you so you can complete the course abroard.

The course can be started whenever you are ready but you must complete the 4 open water dives within 12 months of starting the course.

Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places more often.

All done in a day over 2 dives at Capernwray Dive Centre. Please note price does not include entrance fees and membership to Capernwray Dive Centre.

Discover Scuba Diving Pre-Requisites

Minimum age is 10.
A parent or guardian must be at the pool to accompany children under the age of 16.
All participants must complete the PADI Medical Disclaimer Form prior to participation. Any pre-existing medical conditions highlighted on this form will require medical clearance before we can allow you to take part.
