S&D Racing supporting Ella's Army

Many of you may have noticed the new logo displayed on our bikes, clothing, and support vehicles this year.

Giving back to the community has always been important to both John and me, and we are proud to use our platform to support causes that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

This year, we are honored to support Ella's Army, a fundraising organisation established in memory of Ella McCreadie, who tragically passed away at just 13 years of age from an undiagnosed brain tumour.

Since its formation, Ella's Army has raised more than £70,000 for Brain Tumour Research, while also creating remarkable awareness within the community. Their achievements have been truly inspiring, from turning an entire town pink in Ella's memory to having a street named in her honor.

We encourage you to take a few moments to learn more about Ella's story and the incredible work being carried out by Ella's Army. If you are able, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps support vital research and brings us closer to finding a cure.

We have one of our championship winning bikes with British Historic Racing bikes for sale!

This is based on a CG125 with a 150cc big bore kit, upgraded brakes and suspension fitted and has been raced by ourselves for the last 4 years. This bike comes with 2 spare engines and there is also an extensive spares package that can be negotiated on. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get into cost effective racing.

Well that is the 2026 season all wrapped up and what a weekend it was! Mallory Park and the CMRC club have been fantastic.

It all started with a 1.13 lap time and finished the weekend on a 1.07. So the pace is there and we are doing something right!

We also had a nice surprise that we came 2nd in the first race for the standard frame class and won a bit of cash for that placing. Overall we finished in the top 3 of the standard class all weekend and the last race on Sunday left us with a top 10 finish.

It has been a tough season with the 350 with a lot of finding our feet with it and a lot of learning. This was an excellent finish to the season for us and all the hard work paid off.

Thanks to Bailey Farmer and Sheena Reid for all the help this weekend, without you we would have not been there.

Now a bit of a rest, a couple of beers and then back to the workshop to make the thing go faster! 🤪

The British Historic Motorcycle Championships head to the Lincolnshire Wolds on 12/13 September for the circuit’s final vintage race meeting of 2026 🏁

Donington Park you were a blast! We had a top weekend with no major issues so a good result. This was our first time out with the CMRC and we have met some fantastic people that have really helped us out on keeping the bike on the track.
