It’s in our upbringing and Eastern-European culture not to talk about ourselves — staying modest and understated is considered classy. But in today’s modern world, where everyone openly shares even the smallest achievements, maybe we could learn something from that: to speak up, be proud, and own what we’ve worked for.

A friend reminded me today that being ranked #31 in the WDC World Professional Ballroom is actually a huge achievement.
So… here goes 🤩
