On Friday, Bush Hill Park hosted the Middlesex Coronation Bowl competition - a prestigious annual event for a trophy that was first awarded over 100 years ago.

Eighteen Middlesex clubs had competitors made up of teams of three, with 36 holes combined scores forming the winners. Referees were appointed to the course with our own Lisa Martin and Robbie Martin amongst the officiators.

Thanks to the combined efforts of our Club Captain Sean N, with Iain L and Matt B, they collected the second place - well played by all!

A fantastic day on Wednesday as 48 members took part in a fun-filled Texas Scramble, playing in teams of four, for my Women’s Captain’s Day.

It was wonderful to welcome some new faces, and the sunshine, great company and team spirit made it a memorable occasion for everyone.

A huge thank you to Alison and John for keeping everyone refreshed at the halfway hut, and to all the members who joined in and made the day so special.

It was fantastic to see so many of our Academy members out on the course, taking on the challenge and enjoying the experience.

Women’s Captains’ Charity Day 💙⛳

A fantastic day yesterday at our Women’s Captains’ Charity Day in support of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

A total of 49 women took part in a fun 13-hole competition, enjoying a wonderful day of golf while raising an incredible £1,600 for this amazing charity.

We were also delighted to welcome a representative from Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, who gave an inspiring talk and provided a valuable insight into the incredible work they do to support seriously unwell children and their families.

☀️ A new Club summer tradition was born last Friday – Pimm’s & Poretti Day! 🍹🍺⛳

Played in a fun Texas Scramble format, the winning team of Guy, Sanjay, Cela, and Debi stormed to victory with an incredible net score of 51. 🏆👏

A fantastic day of golf and the perfect way to finish… with a refreshing glass of Pimm’s or Poretti. 🍹🍺
