We’re going into a new week and here’s everything we’ll dive into on our programme! 💪
It’s tough to figure out how to balance improving your movement, building strength and developing fitness all at the same time. 🤔
But we work hard to construct a varied and comprehensive programme, so you don’t have to figure it out! 🤓
Each week sits within a structure that progresses through the month so you don’t stagnate. And each session gets adapted to your capability, so you progress at the right level. 📈

As with any big challenge, breaking it down into smaller pieces gets the job done 🧱

If you feel lost with this subject, come and listen to our wonderful in house expert Coach Sara walk you through how to approach the confusing process of eating for your cycle.
It’s all part of our Ladies Who Lift event this Saturday 23rd May from 12:30 - 16:00. 💪

Have you noticed… we’re about to hit October!
That means 3 more months of lifting, sweating and gains-ing (yes it’s a word) for 2025 😬
And we, and our training programme, are ready for it!
Our goal for those who work with us is for them to become as broadly physically capable as possible. It’s no small task, and so the we put a huge amount of time and thought into the structure behind each and every workout, which sits within a finely balanced programme to make you stronger, fitter and just more damn athletic! 💪
To help you understand the method behind the madness and ensure you get the best from the next 3 months, we’re running a members zoom call:

Expect to learn:
- our approach to strength and skill progression
- our approach to aerobic and endurance work
- how to strategise and scale the workouts (up and down)
- differentiating specialty programmes
- how to put together your training week
- general questions and feedback

Sad news for the ML community: Coach Travis is moving on to a new opportunity closer to home in Newbury 😢
Travis has been an amazing member of our coaching team for many years now, and anyone who comes into contact with him knows what a special guy and amazing coach he is.
We’ve been so lucky to have him in our community, not only passing on his deep passion and knowledge of training through coaching, but his leadership in coach development and our Squad training group and his presence in so many of our events, competitions and trips away.
I’m sure all of us want to wish Travis every success for his next step, and we’ll miss him very much here at Movement Labs.
We’ll be giving him a proper send off:

🍎 30 day Nutrition Challenge 🍎
It’s back! After our best engagement yet in May, we’re bringing back our 30 day nutrtion challenge for its final run this year!
We‘ve seen amazing results in our previous challenges (swipe to see ⏩️) so make sure your sign up to be one if the limited number of people to work with Coach Sara.
CHALLENGE STARTS MONDAY OCTOBER 6th!

The challenge is 30 days of commitment to clean eating, consistent training, and healthy lifestyle habits.
All the tasks involved are achievable on their own, but together they become a challenge that will give you a real boost towards your goals.
The Nutrition Challenge goals include 30 days trying to maintain:
🥦 No alcohol
🥦 No sugar
🥦 No processed foods
🥦 No foods made with white flour (bread, cakes, biscuits etc)
🥦 No hydrogenated or vegetable fats
🥦 Drink 2L (plain) water a day
🥦 10k steps a day (12k on weekends)
🥦 5x training sessions per week (these don’t have to take place at Movement Labs!)
We’re not expecting everyone to turn into zen monks here 🧘♂️- the goal will be to sustain as many days out of the 30 maintaining these habits, and of course the more days you can hit, the better results you’ll get!
Accountability will be the key to your success in this challenge, and so daily tracking will take place via a communal spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group. By cheering each other on as a community, and having access to Coach Sara for support and guidance, the challenge will give you that push to build some healthy habits to help you look, feel and perform at your best!
