Aqua Play is getting an upgrade!

We’re giving the popular Aqua Play at Leyton Leisure Centre a feature upgrade this October!

Coming in late October, the upgraded area will feature exciting new interactive water play, including:

🌊 An interactive waterwheel
💧 Spinning water bowl
🌸 Squirting rotating flowers
💦 Even more splash-filled fun!

The Aqua Play will need to temporarily close while the new equipment is installed. A date for install is not yet confirmed so please keep an eye on social media channels and the Better website for more information.

Due to popular demand, we’ve added more SWIMBiES parent and baby swimming sessions across Waltham Forest, giving even more families the chance to enjoy the water together! 💙

Did you know your little one can start swimming lessons from just 3 months old?

Our SWIMBiES lessons offer a fun and gentle introduction to the water, helping your baby build confidence while enjoying special time together.

Parents, grandparents and guardians join their little ones in the pool, with our qualified swimming teachers guiding you both through fun activities, games and songs.

As well as building water confidence, SWIMBiES can help support your little one’s coordination, strength and motor skills, while introducing important water safety skills from an early age.

Most importantly, it’s about having fun, bonding and enjoying those first splashes together!

On the track at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre we deliver a free Couch to 5K programme in partnership with London Borough of Waltham Forest.

The sessions which take place on Saturday mornings involve walking, a variety of different pace jogging and lots of stretching.
