One of the most ancient texts about the physical practices of yoga, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika from the 1400s, explains that yoga is for everyone, regardless of ability or age:
“Anyone who is not lazy in the pursuit of Yoga, whether young, old, very old, ill, or weak, attains success through practice.” 1.64
I couldn’t agree more! I’m excited to explore ways to make the practice safe and effective for older folks in our upcoming course, Accessible Yoga for Older Adults.

the world will keep selling me the next thing. the next version of myself. the next achievement that finally, finally makes me whole. I let it. but meanwhile, I write down what’s small and quiet. what almost didn’t make it into my day because I was too busy to notice
so write it down. the things that don’t need to be earned.
the sky. a conversation. your body moving. a day without the anxiety.
what are you grateful for that feels too small to matter? I think they are the most valuable ones.

Limor is one of those students who became a true friend. She holds a very dear place in my heart.
She lost her son Zohar at 22, and in his memory, his loved ones created the Zohar Dean Trust - supporting young people through grief counselling, community projects, and opportunities for those who need it most. His legacy is alive in every young person they reach.
This brave, wholehearted woman is cycling from London to Brighton to raise funds for the Trust. If you can give anything at all, it means so much. Link below. 🤍

Have you ever listened to a love song as if it were written from a self-love perspective?
I hadn’t either, until April 2026. I also sneezed a lot, tried to fast, failed, cried in the shower and somehow came out the other side loving myself a tiny bit more than before.

It’s my birthday today 🎂 so I’m using the occasion to start something I’ve been wanting to do for a while: a new little yoga community in the park!
From 17 May, I’ll be teaching every Sunday at 16:00 in Hackney Downs Park.
It’s a 75-minute vinyasa class, which means we won’t rush. There’s time to move, breathe and properly slow down at the end with meditation, a longer cool down and savasana.
The class is £7, bring your own mat and during May you can bring a friend for ✨free✨
If you know someone who might enjoy some Sunday yoga in the park, sharing this with them would honestly be the loveliest birthday gift 💝
Visit the link in my profile to join the conversation.
For the lovely photos thank you .parasyris

If crow pose feels close but not quite there yet, these might help.
I wrote a blog post breaking down what is actually happening in the body during crow pose, which muscles are working and what can help you build the pose step by step. These drills are a few of the ones I share there.
You can read the full post through the blog link in my bio on my website. All these drills are explained in detail there.
And if you try the drills, let me know how they feel 🙂 I always enjoy hearing about your practice.

Yoga, tea, forest, people, connection.
Hey lovely people. On Saturday 29 November we come together for a gentle yoga class at 12:00 in St Peter in the Forest (E17 3PP)
A slow flow to soften the body, reconnect with the breath and settle into yourself.
After our practice we gather in the church cafe (and maybe garden?) to share warm drinks and small bites.
Then we head into the forest as a group to listen to the birds, watch the leaves fall and enjoy the crisp air together.
AAAAAnd *drumroll* we finish with a short meditation among the trees.
If you are craving community, quiet moments and connection with nature, this is for YOU.
Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate, so booking in advance is recommended ❤
I would love to see you there.
Please book through the link in my bio.
Lots of loooooove
