π Help shape welfare at our club π
From our junior section to our women's team to our senior men... Long Eaton RFC is a club for everyone. And we want to make sure every single person who walks through our doors feels safe, supported and valued.
That is why we are building our Welfare Committee and we want you involved.
No formal experience needed. Whether you have a background in player welfare, an interest in the RFU RugbySafe programme, or simply a passion for making LERFC the best it can be... we would love to hear from you.
For more information or an informal chat, DM us or email [email protected]ππ
π There is a place for you here. π
From our youngest girls learning their first pass to the women running out on a Sunday, this club is for everyone.
No experience needed. No need to be fit, fast or sporty. Just bring yourself. π
Girls grow up through the club into the adult section, and women can join at any age and any stage. Wherever you start, there is a pathway here.
Come and find your people. π

A note from the Club's new President, Martin Buczkiewicz , elected today:
"I am absolutely honoured and truly privileged to accept the role of President of Long Eaton Rugby Club. I would like to thank the previous President, Duncan, for all his excellent work for the club over many years.
It seems that things have now come full circle, as I played for the club in the very first year that it started, the season of 1968/1969, when we changed in the upstairs room of the Royal Oak pub on Tamworth Road.
Now we have this magnificent Clubhouse thanks to the tremendous efforts of members and volunteers, but particular mention in driving this forward must be made of the tireless efforts of our Chair, the Company Directors, the Management Board and all the members of the sub-teams.
The club has grown from one scratch menβs team to womenβs teams, minis, juniors and colts, thanks to the tremendous efforts of all our wonderful volunteers, without whom we would not be the fantastic Community Club that we are today.
I would like to dedicate my Presidency to the honour of the three rugby mad friends who had the vision and initiative to start the club: my ex-father-in-law Les Morris, Jim Startin and Len Jones, father of our very own Rob Jones. They would be delighted to see just what has become of their vision.
This is truly a great Community Club and I promise to listen and to represent it to the very best of my ability.
Thank you."
