Trafford Sub Aqua Club TSAC is one of the most active scuba diving clubs in Manchester. We offer BSAC training for new divers who join as well as welcoming experienced divers.

Welcome to Trafford Sub Aqua Club, BSAC Branch 584

TSAC will celebrating 50 years of diving in 2023 and are one of the most active scuba diving clubs in Manchester. We offer BSAC training for new divers who join the club as well as welcoming experienced divers from all disciplines who want to do more diving or extend their skills. Based in the South of Manchester we have members from across Greater Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire at all levels of diving. We are an active club and dive regularly throughout the year both in the UK and overseas. We have more than 15 club instructors including advanced level instructors so can offer training at many different skill levels. We also have 2 RIBS so can offer boat handling training. If you’re already qualified and looking for a club we would be happy to tell you more about us. We meet every Wednesday at Urmston Leisure Centre at 20.45 so you can always come along to have a chat and find out more about us. If you’re thinking of taking up diving and would like to give it a go, or receive more information about it, please get in touch. Drop us an email and we can take it from there. We’ll happily discuss a training programme, or what you can do if you are already trained and joining us either from another BSAC club, or from another dive organisation.

I have received the dates for the next available dry dives at the Hyperbaric chambre in Liverpool.

The day consists of a lecturer on diving safety and decompression illness. You will then be briefed on the safety aspects of the chamber and introduced to the chamber environment where you can experience the effects of nitrogen narcosis. It is on a first come first served basis.
Each change season accommodates 10 people.
- You will need to be there at 10
- You will need a valid self certification medical form. (BSAC).
- Cost is £40
- Take your log book for a stamp
- Take your dive computers
- Bring some warm clothing

Gibraltar diving is an odd mix of Atlantic and Mediterranean life. The temperature under water varies but the dive sites are full of life. Most dives are deliberately sunk wrecks but a few are actual wrecks.
Definitely worth a visit, particularly in terms of cheap and short hall flights.
