🥋 KARATE FRIENDS — CAN WE HELP THEM OUT? 🥋

Senjokai Karate Academy is run by a good friend of mine and they have the chance to win £3,000 from the Aldi Scottish Sport Fund! 🙌

They’re doing fantastic work for karate and their local community, so it would be great if we could get behind them.

👉 Please click on the original Aldi Scotland post and LIKE the Senjokai Karate Academy photo — that counts as your vote!

It only takes a few seconds and every vote could make a massive difference. ❤️🥋

Come on karate family, let’s help Senjokai win this! 👊

Good luck from everyone at JKS Luton & Harpenden! 🥋

📚 School and karate make a great team.

Teachers do an incredible job helping children learn and grow every day. At JKS Luton, we’re proud to help reinforce some of those same life skills outside the classroom.

Through regular karate training, children can develop:

🥋 Confidence.
🥋 Focus and concentration.
🥋 Respect for others.
🥋 Self-discipline.
🥋 Resilience when things don’t go to plan.

These aren’t just karate skills—they’re life skills that can help children in school, at home and in everyday life.

Every child develops at their own pace, but it’s always rewarding to hear parents tell us their child is becoming more confident, focused and willing to try new things.

If you’re looking for a positive, supportive activity for your child, we’d love to welcome you for a free trial.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS… 🚨

With England playing today, everyone is welcome to swap their gi jacket for their favourite football shirt at training tonight.

Just don’t expect VAR if your front kick misses… 😂

People often see the gradings, the medals and the belts…

What they don’t always see is the impact karate can have beyond the dojo.

Last night I was given this beautiful card and a thoughtful gift from one of our families as they leave JKS Luton.

The truth is, teaching karate has never been just about punches, kicks or black belts. It’s about believing in children, helping them grow in confidence, watching them overcome challenges, and being a small part of their journey.

Knowing that we’ve made a difference to a child’s future is worth more than any trophy or achievement.

To Esma and her mum, thank you. Your kindness, generosity and heartfelt words mean more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. I have no doubt you’ll achieve great things. 🥋❤️

📱 or 🥋

Every child has an hour to spend.

One hour can disappear scrolling…

Or it can be spent building confidence, focus, discipline and friendships that last a lifetime.

At JKS Luton, we’re proud to give children a place to grow, challenge themselves and achieve something they’re proud of—one lesson at a time. 👊

🥵 I’m surprised nobody’s mentioned the hot weather this week! 😅

Despite the heat, we still had a great session tonight. Plenty of water breaks, plenty of sweat, and plenty of effort from everyone who trained. 👊🥋

Huge credit to all our students for turning up and giving it their best in tropical dojo conditions! 🌡️🔥

See you at the next class… hopefully with slightly less melting involved. 😆

🚨 WARNING: SIDE EFFECTS OF KARATE … 🚨
