Meet Melissa, one of our Recreational & Preschool Coaches!

Melissa is currently working towards her Level 1 qualification and can usually be found making our gymnasts smile, even when there’s absolutely nothing funny going on 😂

If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation… because getting from one piece of apparatus to the next would be so much quicker!

Say hello to Melissa next time you see her in the gym! 💙💛

Meet Ana, our Head of Gymnastics Operations!

With her Level 2 WAG qualifications and over 10 years around the sport, Ana is all about making sure our gymnasts are learning, progressing and enjoying every session.

And if she could have one superpower? Mind reading because knowing exactly what our gymnasts are thinking would definitely make her job a little easier 😂

Say hello to Ana next time you see her in the gym! 💙💛

This week we said goodbye to Leah as both a gymnast and coach as she begins an exciting new chapter at university.

Leah has been such a special part of the Luton Gymnastics Club for so many years. She’s grown through the club as a gymnast, given back as a coach, and made a real difference to so many of our gymnasts.

We’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved and so excited to see what the future holds for you. Thank you for all the memories, the laughs, and everything you’ve given to LGC.

Good luck at university, Leah. We’ll miss you, but you’ll always be part of the LGC. 💙✨

Our Young Leaders are learning to become the next generation of LGC coaches. 🌟

You may spot them leading a warm-up, supporting a station or encouraging gymnasts during sessions. Don’t worry they’re always supervised by a qualified coach and have completed our in-house training, so they’re prepared and supported every step of the way.

This programme helps them build confidence, leadership and coaching skills while creating a fun and supportive environment for our gymnasts.

Today’s helpers. Tomorrow’s coaches. 💙✨

You’ll start seeing our Junior Young Leaders in your child’s session!

You may notice one of our older gymnasts working alongside your child during class, they’re there for a reason!

Our Junior Young Leaders help demonstrate skills for gymnasts who learn best by watching, offer encouragement throughout the session, and become a friendly gym buddy to help build confidence.

They aren’t replacing the coach – they’re an extra pair of helping hands, making learning more fun, interactive and supportive for every gymnast.
