We’re excited to launch Friday Night Football throughout the summer holidays!

A relaxed evening of football where players can come along, play matches, enjoy the game and spend time with friends in a fun, friendly environment.

🚨School Year 1 to 6 (25/26 age)
📅 Every Friday during the summer holidays
💷 £5 per session
⚽ Match-based football
👦 Open to boys and girls of all abilities
☀️ Attend as many or as few sessions as you like

The Heybridge Swifts clubhouse will also be open throughout the evening, serving refreshments, making it a great place for parents and families to relax while the children play🥤

Summer of Fun at Maldon United⚽☀️

The summer holidays are nearly here and we’ve got plenty going on to keep the kids active, learning and enjoying their football!

Whether your child wants to improve their game, build confidence, or just enjoy playing football with friends, we’ve got something for everyone this summer.

☀️Football camps:
Our camps are running through the summer for the following dates, over at Heybridge Swifts for 1/2 day bookings:

- 21st & 22nd July
- 28th & 29th July
- 13th & 14th August
- 18th & 19th August

⚽️ Friday night football:
Football for the community, in the community! Turn up on the night and play tournament style small sided games, supervised by Maldon United coaches.

Heybridge Swifts clubhouse will be open for family and friends to enjoy some refreshments, while the kids play in the sun!

☀️ 1:1’s and small group sessions

Available throughout the summer. 1:1’s are subject to availability, but all sessions will be hosted in Maldon and Chelmsford. Small group sessions will be available to book in August. Just be mindful spaces will be limited!

🔴⚫Maldon United Monthly Roundup🔴⚫

Another busy month for the club with plenty going on both on and off the pitch 👇

Our in-house games continued throughout May and have been a great way for players to finish the season. It’s been brilliant to see players enjoying themselves, competing with confidence and putting into practice what they’ve been working on in training.

We also held our formal trials for the 2026/27 season. We’d like to thank every player who attended. The standard was excellent across all age groups and we’re excited to get started with the squads we’ve put together for next season.

Presentation Night was another highlight of the month. It was great to celebrate the season with players and families and recognise the hard work, commitment and progress shown throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our award winners.

A number of players also travelled on our Tour of Holland, representing the club brilliantly throughout the trip. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, with lots of football, new experiences and memories that will stay with them for a long time.

To finish the month, our new 2026/27 squads got together for their first training sessions. The energy and enthusiasm from the players was great to see and we’re looking forward to seeing what each group can achieve over the coming season.

A positive month all round and plenty to look forward to as we head into the summer. Thanks to all of our players, parents and coaches for their continued support.

MALDON UNITED x ROTTERDAM🔴🟠🇳🇱

Wow… a weekend to remember! Our FIRST EVER TOUR! And it couldn’t have gone any better…

Our U9’s and U11’s headed out to Holland with the opportunity to play in the 9th Dutch Youth Cup, and they both absolutely smashed it!

Our U9 squad WINNING the gold cup in the top bracket, an immense achievement for an unbelievably gifted group. Playing some fantastic football on an incredibly large pitch for their age.

Our U11’s only losing 1 game for the entire tournament, going through the group stage unbeaten and narrowly missing out in the late stages on penalties. Scoring an unbelievable amount of goals with some real worldies in there too.

We’re so proud of the players and parents, for representing the badge in such a honourable manner.

We can’t wait for our next tour, with the intention of only going bigger and better in the next one🔥

We’re launching a new advanced training group for current U6 players (U7’s for the 26/27 season), based out of Heybridge Swifts Stadium, designed for those who are ready for a higher challenge and a more structured football environment.

👏A pathway into next season’s Saturday football squads
