✨ ASSOCIATE TRAINING ✨

The start of the year has certainly been a busy one for some of our pupils, as they have returned to their Associate programmes or begun exciting new programmes for the very first time! 🩰💫

We are incredibly proud to see so many of our dancers seeking additional training opportunities in the areas they are most passionate about. Associate programmes are a wonderful way to complement their regular training - giving dancers the chance to experience specialist coaching, explore different styles and approaches to teaching, challenge themselves in a new environment and meet new friends who share the same passion. 💗

We have the following pupils currently attending Associate programmes:

🩰 Eliza — Elmhurst Young Dancers Y4
🩰 Skye — Elmhurst Young Dancers Y5
🩰 Autumn, Nancy & Annabelle — Elmhurst Young Dancers Y6
🩰 Eloise — Royal Ballet Junior Associates
🩰 Adeline — Royal Ballet Junior Associates

✨ RAD CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION! ✨

A lovely moment for our students as they finally received their Royal Academy of Dance certificates from the exams they took back in June! 🩰🎓

These certificates represent so much more than an exam result - they reflect months of hard work, commitment, determination and progress in the studio last year.

We are incredibly proud of every dancer who took part in our summer RAD exam session 💕 A huge congratulations to you! 🌟

We are already seeing fabulous work as the pupils have now started training for their next grade.

✨ UKA PERFORMER OF THE YEAR 2026 ✨

What a brilliant weekend we have had with our wonderful dance team! 💗

UKA Performer of the Year is such a fantastic event, run in an audition-style format where dancers really have to step out onto that stage, perform with confidence and push themselves to find that extra bit of magic that makes them stand out. ✨

And our dancers certainly gave it their ALL! We are incredibly proud of every single one of them for the energy, commitment and performance they brought to the stage. Watching them support and cheer each other on makes us equally as proud. 🥰

We also love making this event into a full team weekend away! Shopping on Saturday, a party night, hotel stay and lots of fun and laughter along the way! 🛍️💃🏼🎉 It’s so lovely to see all of our different age groups mixing together, friendships growing and memories being made away from the studio.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing teachers who have worked so hard preparing our dancers for this event. The time, energy and care that goes into getting everyone stage-ready is hugely appreciated. ❤️

A weekend full of dancing, friendship, fun and wonderful memories with our SB team.

Until next year, UKA Performer of the Year! ✨💗

VERSATILITY 🔥

We train our dancers hard in classical technique, building strong foundations — but we also know that versatility is key to opening doors and creating opportunities for the future.

Just TWO weeks into our Monday Commercial classes and look at the insane level of work our Seniors are producing! 🤯🔥

Strong. Sharp. Confident. Versatile.

We are SO excited to see where this class takes them! 👏🏼🖤

Beautiful work from Jemima showing gorgeous fluidity, strength and technique in this contemporary piece. A joy to watch! 🤍

Monday nights for our seniors are all about Choreography class, Commercial & Team - developing versatility, performance and confidence across different styles, led by our wonderful teacher Miss Chloe.

Wonderful work shown from everyone this week! 👏✨

✨ From Blossom Ballerinas to Pre-Primary… ✨

There’s something so special about watching our little dancers take that next step in their dance journey. 🩰🌸

After growing in confidence through our Blossom Ballerinas programme, moving up into their very first RAD class - Pre-Primary is such an exciting milestone.

We absolutely love this syllabus because it develops such well-rounded little dancers. Through beautiful exercises, imaginative movement and musicality, our dancers begin to build coordination, control, spatial awareness, expression and those all-important foundations of classical ballet.

But it’s about so much more than learning steps. 💗

At this age, we want our children to really feel dance and music in their bodies - to hear changes in the music, respond naturally, explore different qualities of movement and discover the joy of expressing themselves through dance.

These early foundations are so important, and watching them begin to understand not just how to move, but how movement should feel, is where the magic really happens. ✨

Our little Pre-Primary dancers are already showing us just how much they are learning… and we love watching their journey unfold. 🩰💕

We only have a few spaces left in these classes.

✨ 4TH PLACE – TEES VALLEY JUNIOR BALLET CHAMPIONSHIP! ✨

A huge congratulations to our lovely Fliss, who placed an amazing 4th today in the Tees Valley Junior Ballet Championship! 🩰🏆

Fliss shows such unwavering dedication to her classical training. With her time now spent away at vocational school, she simply snatches whatever opportunities she can when she’s back home to rehearse and work on this routine - making today’s result even more special. ❤️

What a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of you!

Hard work, commitment and a genuine love for ballet shining through. ✨

Well done Fliss! 🤍🩰
