What a fantastic end to the season! One that won't be forgotten anytime soon.
Rafferty you are swimmer of the month for having a great attitude and improving loads. Well done you!!
Our inter-house rounders competition was absolutely epic! Even though Pimples and Corkscrew argued about what colour the grass was with anyone close enough to hear.
The sky was filled with BTASC swimmers the next day as they were blasted into the air at the wake park.
Then awards night. I didn't think we'd ever, ever be able to pull off another surprise when it came to the promise but WE GOT YOU!!! Let that be a lesson to never, ever trust us. (Apart from with your children's safety). The coaches got stuck in a swimming sack, they journeyed across England to find the one man who could help them in their hour of need - Phil Cram.
🐝 Awards night itself was fantastic. Tears and laughter all around and that was just Kettle.
🐝 Phil Cram is the best actor.
🐝 Children wiped the floor with the parents in the sing off.
🐝 Hannan is the new BTASC champion.
🐝 Thomas is in the hall of fame.
🐝 Tom and Becky are promise dodgers.
🐝 One of the houses won the championship, but it has slipped my mind which one.
🐝 Pan is the best volunteer ever.
🐝 Cat Tang is whatsapp comment of the year - I'm just glad Bruce finally got off the rollercoaster.
🐝The new boyand Deepend was introduced to the world.
🐝 Hippo brought the house down with her swimming version of wonderwall.
😭😭😭😭😭
BTASC is just mint innit.
Have a great summer everyone x

This Sunday we have another legendary awards night at BTASC.
The HUB at Teesside Uni is the place to be because this year, at awards night, we are playing a brand-new live, interactive game show: Release The Coaches!
The coaches will be *safely* locked away in a room whilst Spoon hosts the show. Once we hit certain fundraising targets, the audience will receive treats for the mind and soul.
Once we hit the 3rd fundraising benchmark, the coaches are released. Once they are released, they will get punished... how much punishment? Well, that is up to you guys...
The coaches have *mostly* agreed to what is in store for them. This is not to be missed. Tickets bought at the door. Event starts at 5pm. All members past & present are welcome.
Will this be yet another awards night you won't see at any other sports club in the country? You betcha.
Can't. Wait.

Check out Jessica! She's only been in the club for what feels like 5 minutes, and she's already got herself a squad move into low force and swam in 4 races at Diddy league yesterday, including the cannon!
Jessica came to Borocuda with School Swimming and loved the vibe so much that she asked to have a trial in BTASC. As we are always susceptible to flattery we instantly agreed and now look where we are!
The sky is the limit for this one.
Well done Jessica, I hope you enjoy the rest of the season and awards night!
The God's of Swimming are doing a charity abseil from Mt. Olympus with masks of your face on their heads.

Let's welcome Evie to the ranks of fantastic swimmers for our Swimmer of the Month award.
Evie joined the club earlier this year and has worked very hard to improve her technique in Crossfell. She succeeded so well that she was invited to the next squad up after only a few months and has settled in really well!
Well done Evie, it's been brilliant coaching you and the Gods of Swimming have changed their smart watches background to the picture of you winning your well-deserved award.

Heeeeeere's Brucey! And he's coming in for March's swimmer of the month award.
Bruce is mint. This is why he has won the award. Frequently, his squad, Lowforce, are required to stop swimming, stand up, and applaud Bruce for being mint. Bruce is mint. BTASC is mint.
The God's of Swimming are developing a new series of mints to sell called "Brucers". Would you like a Brucer? Yes please, I certainly would.
Well done Bruce! Keep being mint and keep on pushing!
