Another HUGE turn out for our Mega Monday at Cleveland Wheelers Youth Coaching this week! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🙌

From September, we are running road circuit and cyclo cross disciplines on a Monday evening and cyclo cross on a Thursday evenings (whilst we have the light!🔦)

It was great to see so many of you in attendance and lots giving the cyclo cross a go too! Excellent work across all groups, well done everyone! 👏

A big welcome to our new starters who have joined us recently too! 🤗

Thank you all for coming and we hope that you enjoyed the session! 💪

🌟 Rider of the week this week was Jett Reed! 🎉

ℹ️ Mondays 6pm - 7pm / 7:30pm, £3 per person 🙌

❗Younger riders session until 7pm
❗Cyclo cross until 7pm
❗Fast laps until 7:30pm

ℹ️ Thursdays 6pm - 7pm, usually £3 per person but FREE until October 15th 🙌

❗These sessions are for a full hour and are for riders who can ride the whole session as they are a step up from regular Monday night training

Huge thank you to everyone who came and joined us at our Cleveland Wheelers Youth All-Stars FREE CX sessions on Thursdays! 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♀️🙌

It was an amazing session earlier in the week, with another amazing turn out of riders! Led by Coach John, the focus in this session was on a number of different things -

✅ technical terrain corner sections and how to approach them and apply steady pedalling throughout using the correct gearing
✅ race starts on a whistle & 10 seconds sprints up to 30 seconds
✅ practiced short descents, looking at body position and braking technique
✅ small loops using the CX course to do hill repeats and off cambered sections.
✅ Finished with a box game - a crowd favourite
