Today we said goodbye to our friend Andrew.
A packed church and wonderful tributes demonstrated just what great esteem he was held in.
We will miss him.

We are sad to announce the death of our Member and friend Andrew Killick.

Andrews style of Croquet was unique, his jokes were corny and his Christian faith was strong to the end.

We will miss him.

Final EPL fixture of the season - nice way to finish.

Middlesbrough AC Advanced Tournament held on 21st & 22nd June was won by Anthony Miller beating Mark Simmerson in the Final.

Secretarys Shield today at Pendle & Craven Croquet Club ( Earby ) saw Middlesbrough beat Southport 5-2 in glorious sunshine.
Andrew Killick, Dennis Scarr, Brian Gardner and Nigel Durie. On to the next round !

The Croquet North GC Singles Tournament held at Middlesbrough on 14th June, 2025 was won by William Steadman.

A lovely day for Croquet.

26/27th April - Middlesbrough Croquet Club Handicap Singles Tournament.
We had 9 players covering 8 places over the 2 days.
Very pleasing to host visitors from Tyneside, Penrith and Keswick.
The Winner was Andrew Killick - Runner up Julian Gibson.
Weather was very nice over both days.

Today we held our first Tournament of the season - a Charity 1 Ball.
12 entrants from across the Croquet North Federation area.
We used an all play all format with Dennis Scarr being the eventual winner.

The new Croquet season starts here with lawn marking and general tidying up.
Lawns have been given their spring treatment, have had their first cut and are looking good.
So... Off we go !

Our final East Pennine League match of the 2024 season last Sunday ended in defeat to York.

For the 4th time Middlesbrough lost in the final of the Secretary's Shield. Played at York we lost 5-2 to a strong Peterborough team.
