This candle has been poured, tested, refined... and tested again.
Tested different wick sizes because every FromGrief2Bliss candle should burn as beautifully as it looks.

As the flame settled, something unexpected happened.
The light began to glow through the wax, making the heart appear almost alive.
It reminded me that love doesn't disappear. It changes form. Sometimes it becomes a memory. Sometimes it becomes hope. And sometimes... it becomes a quiet light that stays with us, even in the darkest moments.

That's why I test every candle before creating a larger batch. Because some lights are made to illuminate a room. Others are made to illuminate the heart 🤍
And sometimes, the smallest light can carry the biggest meaning.

⚓ Helping people find an anchor when life feels heavy.

This little candle taught me something today.

I don't remember the last time I burned a candle all the way to the end.
Usually life gets busy. We blow it out, forget about it, or move on.
But for the last few weeks I wanted to see its whole journey. From the first light... to the final flicker.

After over 22 hours of testing, I'm genuinely proud of the result. Not because it's perfect, or because is made by me but because every hour taught me something.

Lessons learned
1️⃣Don't judge a candle after one burn.
2️⃣Complete a full life-cycle burn test before making changes.
3️⃣Record evidence rather than relying on assumptions.
4️⃣A product doesn't need to be perfect—it needs to perform consistently and safely.
5️⃣Continuous small improvements are better than constantly remaking products.

In conclusion, this candle demonstrated excellent burn performance, even wax consumption, full melt pool achieved, no tunnelling, stable flame and vessel performed well.

Creating handmade candles isn't just about beautiful vessels or wonderful fragrances. It's about testing, learning, refining and making sure that when a candle reaches your home, it's one I would happily burn in mine 😊

What a fantastic International Yoga Day at Willen Lake 💚 🧘‍♂️

Every year this event grows bigger, better and more memorable.
From the beautiful marquee and exceptional teachers to the dedicated volunteers, wonderful stallholders and everyone who attended - together we created something far greater than an event—we strengthened a community where people feel they belong, can connect and celebrate the spirit of yoga!

Despite several other major events taking place across Milton Keynes that day, our incredible yoga community still showed up ❤️ Your support, positive energy and commitment made this celebration really special.

A very special thank you to Joanna, whose organisational skills exceeded every expectation. Her vision, dedication and countless hours of planning brought everything together so seamlessly, creating an event that our community can be truly proud of, this would not be possible without you ❤️ 🥰
